InFlames
Hi guys, my name is Marcel and new here, but for a long time a passive reader . I ordered a new 5.1 system RP280F,RP450C,RP250S and R115SW. I love it!!! Now my plans are to upgrade the system to 7.2 or 9.2 Subwoofer is no problem I add a second one but what should I do with the back rear? Add second pair RP250S or going to RP150M or RP160M? And what about front heights? RP150M or RP160M? Thanks you for your feedback and many greetings from germany. billybob
Hello, and welcome here! Are there any bookshelf in that series of speakers? Not that familiar with the new reference, but other's here may be able to help Thinking if not, you may want to consider some.

Scrappydue
I have two pair of RP-160's I am selling. Just saying Edit. You are about a million miles away so that wouldn't be so easy. Id get bookshelves for both sets you are searching for. If you can afford Id get the 160's for both. If you wanna save a bit then the 150's are probably 95% of the 160's. And since both are rear ported I won't reccomend one over the other. And I've only heard the 160's. They are a dang good speaker. wvu80
Welcome, Marcel. I don't have the exact setup you do, but there are others here who can give you expert guidance in setting up your system. You have a great start with that RP series in 5.1.
InFlames
Hey many thanks for your feedback and messages! @scrappydue I also got a 2.1 set for the office with the RP160´s and R110SW. you are definitely right... this speaker rocks!!! For left and right rear the RP250´s are definitely better choice then a bookshelf i think. But for the back rear i thought that the 150´s or 160´s better because they are more direct, as you said in some other posts. Now its a choice between 150´s or 160´s.... (for front heights in the 9.2 setup it will be bookshelf too in the future, but we will see how the setup is changing with atmos.) So what should i do?! If i disregard the price between the 150´s and 160´s which will be better? I asked this question because the surrounds and the center speaker are equipped with 5.25" woofers. So if I get the 160´s are they oversized with 6,5" in that setup because of bigger woofers? Should I go with the 150´s because of the same woofer size??? Or is this not relevant? Kind regards and many thanks! Marcel PS: sorry for maybe wrong grammatic or mistakes Edited May 10, 2015 by InFlames

Scrappydue
Get the 150's for Heights. I see no need to fork over the extra moolah for a matrixed channel anyways

Mallette
I loved the follow up a few years later when Reagan rather controversially visited a cemetery where some German WWII soldiers were buried. Political cartoon of him giving a speech there and saying "Ich ben ein Frankfurter..." Wondered how many got that one at the time. Thought I'd never quit laughing. I'll take a strudel then. <bunny trail>First time I had strudel, from a little grocery/bakery in a small Texas German town, I ate the whole thing all by myself. It was cream cheese and weighed about 5 pounds. </bunny trail>

CECAA850
We don't have really good German bakeries and delis around here. We try to find them when we travel though.
