oldtimer
Don't blame Chad for this. He's on our side. Upper management spends little if any time on the forums (Chad please correct me if I'm wrong). This thread requires lower management......... And now it has it! Mighty Favog
A man is sitting at the bar passing gas next to another couple. The husband of the couple angrily turns and says "How dare you fart before my wife!!" The first man says "I'm sorry, sir. I didn't know it was her turn." wvu80
+++ FYI I am now in the process of fixing the leak in the middle bathroom. I've been fixing it for three days now; anyone care to guess how THAT'S going? IMG_44181.JPG How's this project going, btw? It got worse. All I needed was a $3.00 set of rubber gaskets, which apparently are unobtanium. I bought a new faucet, which I took hours to install since the old one was metal and wouldn't unscrew. I ended up taking vise grips and destroying the old one until it fell off. All ready to hook it up last night. Not able to because I lost a minor plastic compression fitting. One more trip to Lowes ought to do it, which means all I spent was a half dozen trips to Lowes, $150 in new faucet and valves, and when I get done if I'm lucky, it will look and act exactly like the last one, except it won't drip. Then I get to go downstairs and fix the damage to the ceiling and carpet from my last fiasco. And so it goes... https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=wcUCYtyaLrY (the vid is not related to my troubles. I just thought we all could use a little old school Billy Joel ) Edited June 22, 2015 by wvu80
oldtimer
Been there done that. Now I only attempt plumbing during weekdays and in the morning. (After hours emergency calls for plumbers are more expensive) You know, for when I screw it up.
