Maybe CF-2 owners will see this.

Have you looked at the specs?

This could help. There were 3 versions. Another spec sheet exists a little earlier in this thread.

Yes you said version 1.

Most sought after version, at least for the 3s and 4s.

Dang water marks.

No I was asking if on day 264 of the year, serial number if they would be gen 1's

Sorry, that information also in this thread. Good fortune!

Thought so, over the last 2 or 3 pages or so. There is also another spec sheet besides the one I posted earlier.

Another way to determine is to measure the length of the port.

Will try Google for you.

Sorry again but, ones who know out having fun.

This thread seems to be focused on the 3/4 Didn't know if the serial number (specifically the fall part) applied to the CF2's as well day 264 is 9/21/1994.....

I should have just asked the guy! they are V1. I didn't think he was as into Klipsch as some folks. He's probably reading along and laughing

trying to find that out now....

Measure the tube at the bottom.  If it is roughly 5.5", it's considered version 1.  If the tube is shorter, 2.

I did not pull the trigger/take the drive. I just picked up some KLF-20's and dove into modifications on those instead. There is a set of CF-3's in Tampa, not sure what gen though... 1,100 though they look like 1994's oak, pretty mint, they are on Marketplace.

Can I use Klipsch KG-5.5 woofers to replace the woofers of the Klipsch Epic CF-3 woofers? My Epic 3 woofers are damaged and want to get it working as I can't find a place to fix them. Please let me know.  Thanks in advance.
