JohnA
I'm building a simple audio system for a cabin in the woods. I have a pair of KG2s and a couple of 70s era receivers with silver faces. I'd like a silver faced CD, DVD or BluRay player as a source. I had not originally intended to have a TV there, but I may be overruled. I've been looking, but I haven't been able to find a US Domestic Market player that is silver. My current audio gear is all black and I despise the look, but that's normally all there is. Anybody know where I can find one in silver?
muel
I was thinking Marantz but might be hard to find silver in the US. http://www.ebay.com/itm/like/262381146394?lpid=82&chn=ps&ul_noapp=true https://www.amazon.co.uk/Marantz-CD6005-CD-Player-Silver/dp/B00DUCZBX6 Better yet... http://www.psaudio.com/products/perfectwave-memory-player/ Edited April 19, 2016 by muel

willland
To keep it vintage and silver but only CD. http://www.ebay.com/itm/silver-denon-dcd-1800-vintage-hi-fi-cd-player-with-BB-dac-/262382301985?hash=item3d17343321:g:Q1kAAOSwAvJXDEHb Look for any of the Denon universal players from the late 2000's like the DVD-2910, 2930, 3910, 3930. They play all formats(CD, DVD, SACD, DVD-A) except BD. https://newyork.craigslist.org/brk/ele/5542510098.html Bill
eth2
I suggest putting a pair of P39's and a nice set of VRD's and an NBS in the cabin. We would love to come and listen to them. Just send us the location of the cabin and when you will not...er, I mean will...be there. Edited April 19, 2016 by eth2

JohnA
John, think simple, cheap. "Walden" ALL a matter of perspective. Lars As a matter of fact, it will be much like Walden, minus a pond. It's remote enough cell phone coverage is iffy and I'm not sure if I'll get FM.
