Matthews
Naturally, I IMMEDIATELY thought of you Yup, would have been all over them if they weren't over 1/2 way across the country...
onemoretime
I just offered him $200 for them. I will let you guys know how it goes. I told my brother that I would pay him to restore them and he was on board. He offered to do it for free but I think these are larger than he is expecting.. Dude would be nuts not to take $200. Those cabinets ought to be put out of their misery, and if what DizRotus said about the screens being filled w/paint were true...

onemoretime
Do you think those cabinets can be salvaged? Or are they toast?
jimjimbo
Yes with black Duratex
Karsoncookie
If you are OK with a Duratex type of finish, no matter how ugly, as long as not notably delaminating, can be ok after a good sanding. Will look brand new. Remember, you can tint the White or base Duratex ANY color There is a current thread here somewhere on the board, of a guy using like Boat marketed like epoxy to deal with some delamination and/or other notable cabinet issues.
