Karsoncookie
IMHO, I originally saw it on the Superbowl, and have watched/ listened since then. Even though it is shmooz, I think it's overall, in all respects, a great thing to show the viewers. Your folks thought? Lars Paul Harvey/ Farmer/ Dodge -

boomac
I miss Paul Harvey as well and that was a great commercial. Not enough to make me want to trade in my F 150 tho'!
Moderators dtel Posted August 22, 2016 Moderators Share Posted August 22, 2016 Cool commercial, and I miss that voice also, I would stop what I was doing to listen to, the rest of the story.
wvu80
Not as much of a tear jerker as Paul Harvey, but this is my current favorite commercial. "Ah, 18...the old number..."

Ski Bum
Too long, too sentimental, and frankly kind of boring. Compare to the short, sweet, and bizarrely surrealistic style of the Ray Lewis' "Heart of a Champion" Old Spice ad:
JJkizak
I still like anything with the chimps. JJK
boomac
Grew up driving Chevys on my Grandfather's farm but I have to say that the F150 is one great truck. Best looking, IMO and Ford's commercials aren't bad either. I always take notice what the cowboys are driving out in Wyoming and Montana when I'm out there and I have to say that I've seen a lot of Ram Trucks over the past couple years. Still, the F150 seems to be top choice and the resale value is probably the best of the pickups. Over the years I've been up and down some hellacious snowy/muddy hills in Ford trucks. This is the first time I have seen it. JJK
