I have a pair of KLF 20's and a KLF-C7 center channel but I am considering getting a single cornwall for my center channel...  is that overkill?

I know it would look great but am I doing more harm than good?

Thanks.

Do you not think that the C7 is enought? it is one of the biggest centers. Not many dual 8 inch centers on the market!

I don't know if its my system, but my C7 sounds very dry and always has it seems like. Maybe its just what the center channel is fed, I don't really know. Im a 99% music user, but when I do watch a movie or listen to multichannel audio, the center never really wows and seems to be missing all the highs and just has a dry midrange output.

I think the voice mismatch would do you more harm than good. I would use the money to upgrade my subwoofer system. IMO you can always use more/bigger subs, not to make things louder necessarily but cleaner with a better room response.

You could replace the tweeter diaphragm with a Bob Crites titanium tweeter diaphragm
