That time of year again

Post military I went thru the corporate stress on a 5th generation aircraft build and proofing of 12-14 hrs / 7 days a week while my kiddos were born; wife still complains that I was never there. For the last 10 years I have been tied to the phone 24/7 at Homeland Security's discretion and at times needed to travel at a moments  notice. I wish I could figure out WTF I would do being retired. Seems expensive.

How about putting yourself on the front porch with a cocktail in hand?

Man that sounds good! In the backwoods of Texas where I don't have to deal with today's population but within reach of a store.
At 65 I have one more high school sophomore to send off.

Retire and teach your kid how to secure a student loan.  Problem solved.
