I actually ended up buying a 3rd party TV base that will raise my TV enough to be able to fit everything on the TV stand! I believe @RandyH told me about it in my other thread talking about covering the TV and TV stand with a blanket during 2-channel listening. EDIT: actually, it was @billybob who told me about the TV base. Randy...close enough. Did you get those installed? Need a photo please...

I do have it though. I'll definitely update the thread when I get around to putting it on.

Islander
10 hours ago, RickD said: There is a product called grip liner, lightweight, cheap and easy to cut with scissors. Color is brown. I used it under my extension ladder when painting the walls in my living room so the ladder doesn't slip on the hardwood floors. I've got pictures on top of my Khorns and even Pink Floyd can't knock them down. That grip liner stuff is great for dinner trays, so your dishes don’t slide off on the way to the sofa, but for other applications, like sitting on speakers, they can leave very noticeable marks. Sometimes there’s a warning about this right on the packaging.
Shiva
How about stacking speakers, on top of speakers, on top of speakers? 🤔 1
geoff.
^^^^ What he said! I F’d up the tops on a black pair of La Scalas with these grip liners. You should have heard the gasp I let out when I realized what I had done... It eventually buffed out with Antique Oil. Not sure how lucky I would have been on a natural wood finish. 1

I told her that her huge accumulation of mismatched coffee cups is no longer a problem.
billybob
Think those liners are good for something. Know that they are used for something. Never really impressed me except, can be used for nonslid, I suppose. Maybe can be screwed down or something.
RickD
Maybe a piece of plexiglass is a better idea.
