When I begin to read such posts (and even a thread of mine had been hijacked lately and turned into a flame war)...well, I just don't bother getting involved in the name-calling and back out of the thread entirely. There's more to life than arguing over something silly. We're all entitled to our opinions, but when it becomes nasty and personal, that's when to chill out and stand down! However, and I apologize in advance if you don't agree -- but there is a difference between flaming someone, and degrading them. Flaming is a normal part of a healthy forum, but the constant posts consisting primarily of nothing more than disparaging comments aimed at a select few or one -- is wrong. No one threw the garlic out of the recipe. I like garlic. If they're not here, it's by choice. Since the warning applies equally to all, it seems more like those who are no longer here have decided they cannot add anything to the conversation without risking banishment.
