m00n
Tom, I'm not sure I like you any more. You had to go and post that pic didn't you. Oh man what I would do to get my hands on some Southern crawdads. Damn you tom... Damn you!
TBrennan
Piranha----Hell, I'm down 50 pounds since I saw you. Riding my bicycle at least 15 miles a day, did 18 today. I feel good, I can afford a splurge once in awhile. Not every day though. Yeah, I'm moving down there. Bought a lot in Waveland Mississippi, one block from the beach. Gonna build the house shown in the attachment, house will be on 8' pilings. Gonna get a boat, couple of scooters, lay back. Go up to the funky bars in Bay St. Louis, do some fishin', historical explorin'. Think I'll start a Soul Music band down there. Ya'll come down and see me some time, hear? Piranha
Damn Tom, you lost 50 lbs. since January? Holy ****, that's awesome! I need to start riding my bikes more. Do you have snow tires for yours? I like looks of the new house. As I recall Bay St. Louis is real close to Biloxi, isn't it? I spent a little time at Keesler AFB 20+ years ago. I have a vague recollection of passing through there. I bet they even have gambling down there now?
TBrennan
Piranha---Yeah, Bay St. Louis is about 20 miles west of Biloxi. I'll be about 5 miles west of there. I'll be 50 miles from New Orleans. Lots of Casinos down there, not boats any more but regular Vegas style places with hotels. Some are pretty trashy and low-rent but the Beau Rivage in Biloxi is owned by the Mirage people and is pretty nice.
Piranha
Big change from the hustle and bustle of Chi-town. Best of luck to ya man!
j-malotky
I never thought I would see the day Tom B stopped being a flatlander. I like your plan Tom. Sounds GREAT! Congrats on your weight loss too. Looks like retirement and you are getting along nice Enjoy! JM
m00n
Yep, m00n is dreaming of the day that he can sit on Toms porch down in Mississippi, eat cajan, drink beer, talk about the cival war and set him straight in his political views. Sounds like good times.

colterphoto1
If this thread really be about tomatos, you've all missed the boat. Check out RED GOLD catsup if it's available in your area. I know from local farmer who purchased our family farm. RED GOLD uses only the best ingredients. Literally that company sorts the best tomatoes, all the rest go to a local canning factory who uses the same rejects for all the other major and national chain brands. Same goes for canned tomatoes, whole and diced. If you want catsup that tastes like a recognizable vegatable (fruit, the debates still out) check out RED GOLD. You'll never buy any of those other brands again, they taste like vinegar by comparison. Michaell (I get no profits from the sale of RED GOLD tomatoes)
thebes
Alan, posting that recipe is really not fair. I just finished dinner and reading it made me hungry all over again! Colter, sounds like awesome ketchup will keep my eye our for it.
cluless
colterphoto1- I read from another thread somewhere that you did a photo shoot for your avatar model at her request for some spicy pics for her boyfriend..Do you have her permission to post her on this forum? Especially now that you reduce her to a pair of smiles? I don't mean to be so provincial, but people seem to feel to take undue liberties. colterphoto1
oh, this avatar game of mine is seriously messing with you guys! Just highlighting my work. Actually they have all been different models or clients, I think I have posted 4 so far. No there will be no sharing of the images in any other form, sorry, I have a reputation to consider. wheelman
I think the reason for Mcdonalds ketchup to be good is it's at room temperature. Barbecue sauce is the same way which by the way Dinasaur Sauce rules it's like hotsauce had a baby with barbecue sauce.
picky
The original question was on Ketchup. Mine is Heinz. If you wanna talk about hot sauce, that's a whole different category: My favorites in each heat level: Extreme Heat: Dave's Insanity Very Hot: Matouk's Habanero Hot: Melinda's XXXX Hot Private Reserve Medium: Jim Beam Mild: Cholula Whimpy ("Baby Food"): Frank's Red Hot
JohnA
Heinz, hands down. Why?
Cal Blacksmith
It is all horrid! I can only stand it when in BBQ sauce but that needs to be heavly doctored so as not to have any hint of it's origonal form!

My brother in law grows Habaneros and woe man! They can literally kill you their so hot. Just touching them and forgeting you touched them several hours later in the day and you got to go take a wiss be carefull. Anyways if you like chili as in a bowl of chili. Check out Sole hotsause a couple cap fulls in your pot of chili is all that is needed for such a good taste. I can't believe I gave my chili secret away! Now I just need to find more they don't sell it around here. I had a bottle given to me and it's gone dang it. Back to the ketchup Heinz so far. But I am sure their is much better. picky
wheelman: Yep, I really enjoy hot sauce. I own more than 130 bottles of it from whimpy to "It'll-burn-your-skin-on-contact" (I'm not kidding!). I have at least 20 of them open in the fridge and any given time. I have not heard of Sole Hot Sauce, nor was I able to locate it. http://www.peppers.com/ carries just about every hot sauce under the sun. PhilMays
Ever heard of Fighting Cock BBQ Sauce? I saw it for the first time today. Their bourbon is really bad but who knows about the sauce. Cheap ketchups OK with me! Whatever I have a coupon for!
