Yes, I/We, will be there for sure.

For those that have never come to a Klipsch Weekend before, everyone at all "fan to fanatical" levels welcome! We have a lot of fun informally Friday evening, and Saturday educationally as well.

Hope to see you all there!

Roger

How does all this sound to start with?

Is there something else you would like to do?

Trey, that sounds great so far. A few other suggestions:

Indy Hard Rock.

Another trip behind the scenes of the local Klipsch cinema.

Hope the Holiday Inn is somewhat tolerant to a bunch of out of towners cutting loose for a night. (OK, all night 2.gif)

DrWho,

I guess NIGHTWISH will be on the player for test purposes?

Oh heck yeah! If he is not bringing it, I sure am! 11.gif

It is only march, and I am now really getting excited. 6.gif

I typically leave that Friday morning and stay through the Sunday and leave monday afternoon. That way, I can take the commuter train to and from the airport as well as spend a day visiting family (two aunt/uncles, several cousins and my older brother) that live in/around Indy.

I almost always rent a car as well, so as soon as I find out exactly what flight I'll be arriving on, I can give a ride to the hotel.

So far, the cheapest flight was $236 non-stop/round-trip from Reagan to Indy. Last year, I managed to get a flight for around $140 for the same thing. I'll have to keep watching for the sales and see what flight I can score.

Tom, do you suppose they have a pair if Jubilee's in Indy? If so, we MUST hear them too, behind the curtain of course

You would think that they'd have to. The anechoic chamber and most of the high level engineers ala Jim Hunter are there.

Trey, is there a way that you can arrange this?

6.gif Wow, that is a lot considering it's only $198 non stop from the best, I mean West Coast. And that's almost 2000 miles.

haha I am so looking forward to meeting you 2.gif

As far as stuff to do, what exactly happens at Klipsch in Indy? Is that where the factory is? I would love to see how you guys build everything (not just speaker to cabinet matching, but how you manufacture the voice coils and diaphragms and all that). Though I suppose you don't really want that info available to the public.

The plant and distributing is in Hope, Ar.

We have a DC (distributing center) in Cal. the U.K. and China

Everything else is in Indy.

You will see the Engineering lab and listing rooms. We go to places that use Klipsch product.

The idea is to let the end user take a look into how we develop products.

To look into some of the science and art that is involved.

We try to show some of the concept products that we work on, as well as product on its way to production.

I cant say what we will see this year. Some of that will depend on how much of what we are doing is public. But we will share what we can.

There are Engineers, product development and marketing folks around for you to chat with.
