Wow, Monster Cable is getting really serious:

Guys, I never said it would be cheap, but in terms of products in general, they look nice.

Their whole new line of THX cert cables (means nothing, I know!) are very nice.

Still not happy with Monster, but I will be the first to research new Bose products as I keep on top of everything I can.

I'm pretty sure it(THX) means George Lucas has urinated on them. Kind of like the audio version of Kosher. 2.gif

Look at this subwoofer, for example:

Not saying it is good or bad, just they are really getting serious!

I hear they have patented the concept of a "sub-woofer", a speaker that is intended to reproduce low frequencies only to support smaller speakers.

They are currently mobilizing a 1000-attorney legal team, as they intend to enforce the patent aggressively.

No, no, just means he is collecting royalties. Rich SOB, don't blame him one bit, he has done quite well for himself.

Actually, since Lucas no longer owns THX, he is not collecting any royalties.

Also, straight from the horse's mouth, a Monster Cable Rep, any cable submitted to THX for "certification" will automatically be approved. Even if RCA decided to get their cables THX certified, they would be approved.
