Seadog
Component Power Cable Found! When I got home this afternoon I found an extra component power cable mixed in with my cables. Apparently this happened Saturday night when we were breaking down the set up at the Goat Roper. It is a 3-prong A/C power cable 6' long.If the owner will PM me with your address, I will ship it out ASAP.David
Kriton
I can't tell you folks how much I appreciate how much you aceepted my wife and I on this little oddysey to Hope, it was a great road trip, and I really enjoyed the Klipsch team. The factory tour was cool as hell, and listening to the new makes was an eye opener. I really enjoyed talking to the Hope gang, I learned all kinds of market share information and things that really round out the whole Klipsch experience. It was a great pleasure meeting you all, and Heather enjoyed herself thoroughly; thank you all for making her feel welcome. David, Kaiser was looking for his red component wires that we found last night at the Goat Roper, he will be getting in touch with you. I realy enjoyed Woo's Cornwalls, just made me want to get back to my own! Hope to see you all again next year in Indy, I will defintely be there! Now lets dish on what we saw! seti
The Dynaco amps were sweet and powerful with the cornwalls. I would really love a pair damm there is too much gear I want now. I also really liked the fisher and scott setup very nice. My 300Bs on the cornwalls sounded too anemic and strained. I would not advise running SET on cornwalls. On some of the less complex passages it sounded ok but not like they sound on my Belles. They really need the higher efficiency and the fully horn loaded/folded heritage line. I was happy with the way my turntable sounded and without looking I could tell when we were playing cd or vinyl which I thought was really cool because they were switching often. The CDPs were I believe a Phillips and an Ah! Tjoeb 4000 which I have wanted to hear for a long time. I didn't get to hear the 2A3's but after hearing my 300b's I'm glad I didn't but I would love to hear them in the future though. The room we were in at the goat roper was perfect for listening to music and I'm sure someone will post pics of the room soon. It was great to meet everyone and hear all the different gear. I also didn't realize that Trey was also a race car driver. Hey man when are we going to see you in the indy 500? Thanks Roy, Chris, and Trey! Klipsch's greatest asset is it's employees. Did I mention that the Jubilee just WOMPS!!!!!!! I've would put it in better words but you'd need a poet []
kaiser SET say
Let me start this thread out by saying what a great bunch of folks on the Company and enthusiast side that I was fortunate enough to meet this weekend! As an audio enthusiast and lover of the Klipsch Heritage line one could not have had a better experince except for Bob who will be a future owner of a new pair of heresy III's I see[] The overall experience of this weekend was second to none for me and thanks to everyone who put this gathering together! After listening to Mr. Roy Delgado speak it was clearly evident that this PWK protege is clearly going to take some of the dreams Paul had into the next faze of the Klipsch Heritage line. Wish I would have had time to talk with Roy for hours as I see he has garnered vast knowledge and wisdom from Paul and one might never know because of his quite disposition but one just needed to hear him speak to know he was a piece of Paul living on at the factory. Let me also thank Trey again for the factory tour as I have been to the Museum twice in the last 10 years and they never would let anyone (or at least just a solo enthusiast passing by) into the factory so one of my three Klipsch dreams came true along with my getting to go into Paul's anochiac chanber unfortunately my third dream can never be a reality now that Paul has passed but meeting Roy was a one off replacement I believe! I would also like to say how everyone at the factory made us feel right at home which made the whole tour that much more relaxing and enjoyable. Trey, Chris (and his wife) and everyone were just super. I hope to make it to many more event in the future...........Jubilee anyone[]
Klipsch Employees Trey Cannon Posted September 19, 2005 Klipsch Employees Share Posted September 19, 2005 Ok, To set everyone straight, Bob did not win H3's. He did however win the nights door prize. We have a $ amount that we must stay under, so the prize will be much smaller than the H3 but I hope BEC will like it anyway.
kaiser SET say
So your saying Lee is not a trusted source for information gathering! Gotcha[]
BEC
Trey, That will work out fine. You could even substitute some of those "old model" Lascalas. Or, You could tell me how much I would have to chip in to turn the prize into a set of Heresy 3. Bob
