colterphoto1
We should all boycott that date in hopes of landing another one Or if you're lucky maybe that wedding will fall through? nah, just go have fun without me. I've seen it already anyhow. You know a lot of these guys- go have a blast DrWho. Then report back your findings. Michael
richieb
RichieB and Linda - ridin' the Bimmer from KC down through those great Arkansas roads then on to Tennessee/Kentucky and the Blue Ridge Pkwy. Should be a great early summer trip.
customsteve01
I have not decieded if I will drive from Houston or fly into Little Rock and rent a car. Flying will be 1.5 hours at airport before flt, 1.5 hour flight, 1 hour to gather stuff up and get rent car, 2.5 hours to drive to Hope. A grand total of 6.5 hours. Driving will be about 330 miles and approx 7.5 hours and about 50 bucks in deisel Probably can't rent a car and pay for gas in the rental for under 100.00 dollars Also I have a crew cab so I could offer up a lift and cut cost that way too. Hum................ Anyone want to ride to Hope from Houston or have me pick them up on the way. I do have a good stereo in the truck. Clarion head, Rockford Fostgate speaks and 2 - 12" Image Dinamics subs. Steve
colterphoto1
Steve, that sound system just will not do. It is customary (per Boband Michael Crites) to have a pair of Klipsch Heresy in the back seat, strapped in and wired up. That is the ONLY way to travel to Hope! But good of you to do the math and offer to truck-pool. Perhaps those LS in the back end and knock out the rear window? Michael
bhendrix
Richieb, Two of us plan to ride our Ventures from Wichita. It would be fun to meet somewhere and ride together. Anyone else riding cycles to Hope??
customsteve01
I guess I could fly home to VA and ride from there but comming from VA to AR and KS to AR don't meet up anywhere[]. And I don't know if my Harley would want to be seen ridin near a Yammerha.....................[] haha just kiddin, if you on two wheels your cool to me. customsteve01
Michael, I guess a pair of La Scala's in the back with the rear window open would be better. Steve

I can FORCE my BMWK1200RS to ride with Hardleys, I just ride VERY SLOW. And to make it fair, I'll pull two plugs and ride blind-folded, now THAT should make it even. See ya in Hope and on an HD, Hope you make it!!!!!!!!!! Steve
customsteve01
We were comming back from Sturgis and one of those bemers pull in next to us and we had to ask him if it was running.[] Actually I thought it was a cool bike, very sexy looking. Also looked comfy for the long hauls. I have done a few 1000 mile days on mine and I was toast, but that bike looked like you could almost sleep on it. I doubt I will ride the Harley to Hope. I have a BIG trip planned for August.[][][] Steve
IndyKlipschFan
How about these Van Speakers!!! Sorry, I could not resist!!
DrWho
Anyone want to ride to Hope from Houston or have me pick them up on the way. My brother is in Houston so perhaps I might try to take you up on that offer if I happen to be in town around then. I would be a lot more likely to land a cheap student flight to Houston than I would Little Rock...
customsteve01
That would be cool Mike, let me know. Steve
steamer
If you see a guy on a Harley riding around in circles lookin for a beer(it's not that dry is it?)...then stop him to point me to the PARTY!!!! Greg

colterphoto1
How about these Van Speakers!!! They're pointing the wrong way. No, they are going the correct direction. That was our 'Anti-Ghetto-Bass-Blaster' for the trip. Whenever one of those monster GM autos with gold spinner wheels came BOOMING up behind us, we'd trip the tailgate and LET EM HAVE IT! Shoulda seen the looks on their faces- their gold teeth fell right outa their heads! Michael
