ranjith
Very nice collection of guitars, especially that Jazz Bass (although im not a bass player). How do you like the neck on that Ibanez? I find it too thin for my liking, but that Telecaster has gotta be one very clean tone machine. nice stuff
oldbuckster
Awesome collection, really love fretless bass, they have their own sound. I do not play any type of guitar, but over the years of listening you do develop an ear for the sounds of guitars. You know a Gibson when you hear one, as true with Fender, same with a Rick.,they have their own sound.I was never a big Dylan fan, still not, but thank god he went electric and changed the course of music forever. The Electric Guitar is the instrument of Rock n' Roll!!!! Nice collection, be proud, I know you are. Long Live Rock!! Is that a Stones album on the floor by the Fender Bass? (Good man)
Chris Robinson
I've owned a Martin D-41 (stolen along with my car) and would have to say it played like Leo Kottke's legendary "Student Prince". I miss that guitar still, 23 years later. Presently in my stable are a Strat, Guild 12-string and a Martin 00-18. Still like the Martin the best. As you say, they have a unique sound. The G string on a Martin always rings like a bell. Chris PS: Dittos on the nice guitars. Really nice photos too. Shot with imagination. Chris, I still have my Guild F30R, bought in '74 and I had a 00-18 I played in high school. It was sweet. I guess that's why I like the Taylor 812C shown in my avatar. Just a great balanced sound. Bruce ps I can't believe he didn't color balance most of those photos. Sheesh! What do they teach kids these days? []

[] I didn't bother to color balance any of them. I know that, but the first ones in the LR had all the daylight coming in and look more "normal/correct." [] They are nice shots btw. rockbobmel
I tried a Godin Airline?, I think.. "Wicked Pissa" I just got a Gallien Krueger 2000RB in the mail. Very powerful and driving sound. It sounds killer with a Spector bass.
Marvel
Bob, Josh's G-K is awesome. Being a biamp setup, it is so cool to overdrive the top end, keeping the bottom clean. His never even gets very warm. Bruce
Invidiosulus
It's the other way around. The boost control acts as a gain control feeding into the woofer volume so you can add growl to the bottom end without the top end getting harsh and breaking up. But I love it. The 2000RB would be overkill for most all of the gigs I've played. Not that I would mind having one []
codhead
Great guitar pics. Love the lighting and shadows. That shot down the neck of the Ibanez really messed with my mind for a second - almost looked like a big hump in it until my eyes followed the grain. Enjoy the new toy! Invidiosulus
Here is my axe Nice. I have a Gransfors Bruks as well but mine is the Scandinavian Forest Axe model. How well does that work for splitting? My current splitter is one of those gerber splitting axes with the hollow fiberglass reinforced handle. We had a 90ft white oak tree cut down by the end of our house and I got to split it once the tree people had cut it into 1.5' sections. The gerber worked marvelously.
