nuclearay
I know I made an offer years ago to part with single records on this forum, but it became logistically impossible for me to do. Oh well... what can I say. Drastic circumstances call for drastic measures, though! The wifey and I are splitting, the house is going to get sold, and I abolutely refuse to tote this record collection around with me one more time in my life. This will be a local pick-up (south of B'ham, 35040 zip) or maybe I can meet someone halfway within reason (a couple hour drive?). I'm not really in this to make money (but certaily wouldn't hurt!) which is why I'd rather not fool with ebay -- I'm just looking to give them a good home most of all. Which is why the offer is on the Klipsch forum esp. 2channel. Best offer takes about 200 pieces of vinyl -- while not are all perfect, most are in good condition, some duplicates, etc. This is what I've kept after paring the colletion down about a dozen times over two dozen years. I'll post the list next.

colterphoto1
Any way you'd part with all the Deep Purple? I've got a set of those album sized frames for display, DP is one of my fave bands, my Machine Head got wet, Fireball missing at a party, Passages is almost worn through. I have a good WDWTWA and Perfect Strangers though. Michael
scott0527
Maybe you'd do better to offer the Headbangers Ball section to one buyer, the Classical to another and the Osmonds group to well maybe just forget about that section. Good luck to you. Thanks for offering here first!

Cal Blacksmith
Don't knock the Myren Floren accordian music bro... [] There was a man who was an accomplished accordion virtuoso who went into the rougher part of town. He parked his car in the street and left his accordion in the back seat. He went and did his business and when he came back, the rear window of his car was broken. He approached the car with that dread and sinking feeling you get when you know something bad happened. When he got to the car and looked inside, there were TWO accordions there!

The second half of your list really intrigues me as I'm trying to broaden my collection, having just received a Thorens 125 turntable from another Forum member. If there's any way you'd pack this up and ship media mail, I'd promise to take good care of them. If you need em out of the house right away, I'll have try to get one of my Southern Forum Brothers to help out with a pickup until I can make something else happen. Trust me, I'm a good home for used vinyl. Michael
colterphoto1
Option 2, if you cant ship, I need to be down in New Orleans on a secret mission in December. I was going to fly but if this vinyl is on the line I could drive down and pick up on my way back, IF you can hold on until then (I doubt it, but wanted to express my real interest in saving your vinyl) Michael
