sunnysal
those ALE drivers are supposed to be some of the best in the world, and priced like it! the horn is RCA-esque, I would not be surprised if it is a copy of some RCA design. The thing probably sounds pretty good, nice tractrix salad bowls and a fostex super tweeter, yum! Tony

Daddy Dee
I'd like to hear it. I just can't imagine a compression driver that big loading a bass horn like that.
Def Leper
Jeeze, now I've seen it all. Looks like something out of a Roger Corman movie. No, on second thought, Roger Corman has better taste than that. Bet you need those $10,000 speaker cables to make 'em work right. Die-ah-ree-a. audiobliss69
Wow, those are pretty amazing. As large as they are, I'm almost surprised that they only go down to 45Hz. This leads to the assumption that it takes very large horns to make low bass. Having assumed that, I now must ask....how low can you go with a bass horn? I mean, and still fit it inside a room? Meaning with some practical limitations.

filmboydoug
those ALE drivers are supposed to be some of the best in the world, and priced like it! I checked the ALE website, some of the drivers are 3,250,000 JP Yen. Thats over $28K. At least that is for a pair. [8-|]
