Michael, Quit doing that, you know that is one of the fundemental rules of mail order/internet shopping, it won't arrive until we forget about it. It's like watching a pot waiting for it to boil, or watching a boil waiting for it to pop, I can't remember which. We need to let this thread get at least 2or 3 pages deep before we are going to get our stuff. Opps, I just bumped us up again, that is probably going to cost us another day. ColonialHoo Posted August 9, 2006 Share Posted August 9, 2006 Got home this evening, and my FedEx ground confirmation e-mail with a tracking # was in my inbox. Now I get to spend the rest of the week watching it mosey across the country toward the east coast. Ordered 46 titles on July 23 - can't wait to have an immediate jazz CD collection. I believe it will ultimately help me expand my jazz vinyl as well. I guess a tube CD player is in the cards in the not too distant future. BTW, thanks Allan and Gary, and others who chimed in with recommendations. It was a while back, so I can't remember everyone who posted, and I'm just too tired right now to re-read this thread...but I am excited. When it gets there it will take anoter week or so for my friend's daughter to bring it up to me in Toronto. They go back and forth every weekend, so it won't take too long. I can hardly wait. Anybody get their totals bumped up because their order ended up being less than 30 b/c of out-of-stock items? fini Posted August 11, 2006 Share Posted August 11, 2006 I opened the package this morning. Very well packed. These K2 discs are very easy to open. Just the shrinkwrap. Each cd is in a sleeve, none of that sealing tape that never comes all the way off.... So far, these discs sound GREAT! If any of you have been holding off, you'll be passing up a great bargain! So, apparently everything was still in stock. 1st half of my order is scheduled for delivery Monday 8.14. Still haven't heard anything on my 7.26 order. Hey fini, they're shipping from San Leandro - so we weren't too far off in our assumption that Concord Records was actually in Concord. R, Looks like they are treating us Texas folk like pour step-children, I got confirmations on both orders (July 20th, and one on the 26th) and have not received a mail notification. R, I guess Austin is a little cooler then where you are, I just got confirmation that they shipped my 7/22 order. I thought it was a 7/20 order but I did not order until 7/22.
