Arky
Looks like Caesar's Palace, circa '68, to me. Not quite my flavor but I bet they enjoy it.
j-malotky
Mike, maybe a little gawdy, but not hideous. I told my wife that in our next house, If I could, I would like to make our media room look like the underground walkway at Detroit's airport. 33klfan
Talk about going all out! That theater has intricate detail. Are they klipsch speakers or...? It looks like there were even some in the ceiling. I bet that system sounds awesome.
TheEAR
I am with Colter here. Too much cheap decorations. These decorations would be gorgeous had they had true pallace detail. You can see the lack of finer detail. Marble column immitations look cheap IMO. Low key and clean is the key to the best HT setups I saw and heard. I say way to go,as if that is what they wanted they put the money and have it,to each his/her own. colterphoto1
I much prefer Indy's setup- great gear in a simple, elegant, and comfortable room. M

darkside
That's definitely way overboard. Remove the columns, stage, drapes, and dome. Then throw in some Klipsch and that'd be something a thousand times better. Besides, all those columns probably don't do squat towards good acoustics... damonrpayne
I saw an Egyptian themed home theater in an issue of AV interiors. I would have done that but for the strong suspicion that I'd eventually get tired of anything "extreme". A classic theater look is best. DrWho
Exactly my impressions Damon....though for somebody with that kind of cash I'm sure changing the theme around won't be a problem... Anyone notice the speakers in that theater? (yikes)
