Moderators dtel's wife Posted June 12, 2007 Moderators Share Posted June 12, 2007 Dtel is going to be so surprised. Our son-in-law took dtel along for a ride today. They went to pick up a set of Quintet IIs for our daughter and son-in-laws bedroom. I know it's not Heritage, but it's still Klipsch. But that's not the surprise, while they are out picking up the Quintets my daughter and I went shopping and bought dtel the Nikon D80. Dtel hasn't returned home yet, so he is going to be shocked!!! He's coming in the house now!!!!

We still need you to show us how to use the camera.[] Michael, we love you, it has nothing to do with "needing" you.[]
wstrickland1
You're gonna flat out love that D 80. I bought one right before Christmas from Costco w/ 2 lenses, etc. It can be as easy or as complicated as you want it to be. I will take great pictures simply set on auto or any of the other modes. It is outstanding.

Travis I got about half way through the book and gave up ! Set it to dummy setting and took a few pic's, I love it, I will learn as I go ? How is that for a wife, and she likes speakers too ! You won't get away with 'dummy' setting up here. I forbid it. I'll show ya how to white balance like a pro! hint, use the A setting for lighting unless you're in a tricky situation, then turn to the correct type of lighting for the scene so your colors come out correct.
