Jay481985
I think GaryMD has first dibs.... He has been waiting patiently for over 2-3 years now for a cherry rsw15!
bigdaddy
That would match mine perfectly.

boomac
Yeah, give Gary first dibs for at least another 8 -10 hours if possible. I shot him an e-mail and if he's interested I can probably help get it East for him.
dexter
Ideally I would like to arrange for local pick-up if possible. The only ordeal I have at the preset moment is I am missing the original foam packaging but still have the original box. My solution is six bags "Instapak Quick RT" which when opened creates a foam polyurethane that forms around the product. I would package the corners, top, & bottom with foam & double to triple box with reinforced cardboard padding that would span the entire enclosure. In theory, while I add an additional 7 LBS of extra protection this should make transporting it virtually bullet-proof, I have been following the Klipsch forums for years and know that this sub would fall into good hands with the right buyer. This sale is will stand on the Klipsch forum and Craigslist for the next 3-4 days and after that I will pursue Ebay. Thanks again guys Jon My set-up RF-7S, RC-7, Matching surrounds, Sunfire 5 channel amp, Emotiva MMC-1 pre-amp, & soon to be Conquest. This sub will be dearly missed Jon

garymd
Thanks for the heads-up everyone! Yes, I'm still looking for one. If you decide to ship, I'm certainly interested. I didn't see a price but the pics look great. Edit: I just saw the price. I definitely want it if I can get help with pickup.

sivadselim
Dexter, After you get over the initial "Woohoo, I got something new!" stage, I'd like to hear your honest impressions of the Conquest vs. the RSW15. Thanks!
jacksonbart
Is that a solid step up? Sounds like is goes lower, but will it be strong enough to keep up with RF-7s? Heck I am not sure that what you had paired with the RSW15, anyway congrats. Would love to hear your opinions.

dexter
Sivadsilam & CECAA850....... I hope to have pics up this week with the Conquest and RSW side by side. Shipped on a pallet this sub weighs 365 lbs keeping in mind Chad at Epik uses plywood to enclose the box for maximum protection. Craigsub on the other forum will be doing a shootout with the Conquest vs the ED A7900 monster. This should be good...

DoubleJ
Gary: I can help with pickup for you and can probably get it to Boomac, who than can get it to you. If everything works out, I'll be in Milwaukee for training on 12/4 and 12/5 and can drop of the sub at Boomac's on the way. Thanks JJ
CECAA850
Craigsub on the other forum will be doing a shootout with the Conquest vs the ED A7900 monster. This should be good... A single driver sub vs a dual driver sub???? It will only be interesting if the EPIK holds its own.
dexter
Good point... At 435 lbs the sheer thought of moving the A7-900 into my house and finding its final resting place was enough for me to look another direction. I justified my decision on the A7900 as "overkill" for my listening needs. Jon
