IndyKlipschFan
Nice!!! Love to hear them and hear the series too. Good points on the USA market vs European markets too. Pa lay dee um or Pal lah dee um ?? I think pal lay dee um ??
damonrpayne
Jim was saying Pa-lay-dee-um, so I adopted that pronunciation.
Deang
Just because they're pronouncing it wrong doesn't mean you have to. Edit -- think that might actually be right. p?-la'de-?m

tigerwoodKhorns
Interesting interview. Hmmm, wonder why you didn't release this until today... For those that do not know, CES in Las Veas starts today. I'll be there on Thursday, teh problem is that the show is so big that I don't know if I will make it to the Klipsch booth (I am only going one day). I'll take some pics if I can. EDIT: I just heard the entire thing. Very interesting interview but maybe this thread should be locked now before it starts.
damonrpayne
I didn't release it until today because I've been waiting on permission from Klipsch.

Professor Thump
Hats off to Chris, Jim and the rest of the Palladium Team!
tigerwoodKhorns
I didn't release it until today because I've been waiting on permission from Klipsch. I am assuming that Klipsch did not want you to release the interview until the Consumer Electronics Show in Las Vegas started. Maybe they were just busy getting ready for the show. Good interview in any event.
Deang
"I just heard the entire thing. Very interesting interview but maybe this thread should be locked now before it starts." What, because Garrett called the Jubilee a "rogue...not really a real product...not finished...doesn't count...?" I think Jubilee owners are beyond caring what anyone thinks. I'll tell you what though, if PWK wasn't rolling in grave before he is now.
damonrpayne
I would have thought Jubilee owners considered it a badge of honor to own a "rogue product"? I don't see why PWK would be rolling in his grave. Jim was very specifically talking about the market/sales channel aspect.

I think Jubilee owners are beyond caring what anyone thinks. I'll tell you what though, if PWK wasn't rolling in grave before he is now. You need to put those comments in context, ie the Jubilee Never Went Into Production for Klipsch in a Home Version. It has no official components, measurements, specs, design, materials, voicing, etc etc because nothing was ever finalized. That is what was meant by that, and he's right. Let's not get into the millionth argument about this product, please. Exactly ZERO people would know for absolute certain what PWK would think. tigerwoodKhorns
Amy, Is there a working pair at CES right now? The online directory says that you are at the Renissance 29. Which hotel or expo center is this?

I hope to see great success for both the Palladium and the Jubilee and I believe anyone who chooses either one for whatever their reasons will be extremely happy. mike tn[]
