Ray_pierrewit
I'm building a second system for the living room and havenarrowed my choices down to these two speakers, which will likely bepowered by a vintage HK 430 or 930, which are both in my price range: a)1991 Heresy II, walnut finish with risers in 7/10 condition (there is aklipsch logo missing, but the wood and drivers are in good shape). Iimagine a crossover cap replacement might be in order. I've listened tomy friends Heresy on a vintage Marantz receiver and I really enjoyedthat sound. Plus I listen to Lascalas in my main system and love the"heritage" sound. 380$ CDN, but I imagine I can negotiate down to350-360$ Newish Klipsch Synergy F2, I've never heard but haveheard good things about. The advantage to these is the waf, "nicer, more modern cabinets" she said. I'm kind of scared these might have a"nicer, more modern sound" I may not appreciate, I quite like theenveloping quality of the heritage series. Again 380$, but maybe as low as 350$ I'm quite certain I'll choose the the Heresys, however the wifedoes have alot of pull around here, any thoughts? Can a heritage guylike the F2s? Thanks, dna

However you already have La Scala's so this could be a pick your battle scenerio : )

Hifi jim
Heresy's are a great match to an HK 430 or 930, not sure how the Synergy line sounds with those particular HK receivers. The Heresy's can also be modded with better crossovers and titanium tweeters, and they will appreciate in value like most Heritage speakers. nomad02rider
I think you would find the Heresy's more rewarding. Although I have yet to hear a klipsch speaker that I did not like.
