greg928gts
The pictures came to me via Mike Klementovich and I made a simple webpage for them. I'll post more when he sends more. www.dcchomes.com/pwkmuseum.html Greg

jt1stcav
What wonderful photographs, and what a wonderful tribute as well. How long has this museum been in place?
colterphoto1
Thanks for sharing Greg! Those specimins are much better displayed and cared for than the factory museum at Hope. Do you have any idea why the center there was 're'-dedicated? Quite possibly the ugliest Belle Klipsch ever manufactured however. Islander
Quite possibly the ugliest Belle Klipsch ever manufactured however. Yeah, that "upholstered" squawker horn is right up there with automotive vinyl tops with straps and buckles on them. The musem is pretty cool, though. Thanks for sharing the pix! greg928gts
I don't know too many of the details of the museum or the re-dedication. I think they recently renovated the museum and got some new items in there. Miss Valerie gave a speech there today dedicating a pair of Jubilees to the museum. I have a written copy of the speech, but it's in .wps format which I can't open. If someone here can open it and change the format to something that can be posted here, I'll send you the speech. BLSamuel
Greg, That may be a Microsoft Works Text Document file which some versions of Word will open. Email it to me and I'll give it a try and convert it to a pdf file. If my current version of Word won't open it my Office 97 version of Word may or Open Office may. BLSamuel
Or you could try one of the suggestions here which is what I may do if you do send it to me and I can't open it with anything I have. http://w-shadow.com/blog/2007/11/22/wps-files-explained-convert-wps-to-doc-for-free/

colterphoto1
I wonder if she shook her finger at them and told them how much the company had changed? []
BLSamuel
Oh to be able to read between the lines and hear what she really said. I think you'll enjoy the speech....
seti
I wonder if she shook her finger at them and told them how much the company had changed? Well the company has indeed changed allot. The museum pics are great and it looks like you can listen to La Scalas.
greg928gts
Thanks to Ben for converting the file. The expected composition of the speech given by Ms. Valerie Klipsch is now on the webpage. www.dcchomes.com/pwkmuseum.html Greg
Islander
So PWK was not satisfied with the regular Jubilee? Is the Golden version different or somehow improved?
RT FAN
Thanks for posting the link and pictures, some grest photos there. I love the bass bin(?) that makes the Chorus look small! I don't think the Belle is so bad looking, might not be HeidI Klum, but I'd take it.
BLSamuel
I reread Miss Valerie's speech and noticed acomment about the Golden Jubilee joining other "Original Heritage Speakers".... I also noticed Forte and Chorus in one of the pictures along with Heresy and Cornwall ... so I'm interpreting that to mean that Miss Valerie at least views the Forte and Chorus as Klipsch Heritage speakers. Thanks again for posting them Greg. I hope your friend sends more. Thanks to Dean for posting a brochure for the museum. Yeah, that Belle is kind of odd looking but I'd still find a home for it or a pair in a hearbeat.
seti
That little klipschorn his is pictured with is so cool. I have never seen that before.

seti
So PWK was not satisfied with the regular Jubilee? Is the Golden version different or somehow improved? Don't think it was a matter of not satisfied it just didn't go to consumer production as planned.
