Ray Garrison
Just as an aside, I've always loved words like "Palindrome" and "Onomatopoeia" because they make it possible to descibe the simplest concepts in the most obtuse manner. For example, in an English class I once had, the teacher challenged us to come up with the most complicated sounding definition of a simple word we could. I still remember my answer: Pop: A monosyllabic palindromic onomatopoeia characterising a sudden explosive discharge of minimal magnitude. Always remember, idiosyncratically eupheuistic excentricities are the promulgators of triturable obfuscation. ------------------ Music is art Audio is engineering Ray's Music System

HornEd
Who else would we expect a six star administrator to quote? Nice reach BobG, but I think the original little corporal would have used an "a" on the end if he did it in English. Hey, at least when you speak, a whole lot of folks do pay attention! Congratulations to Klipsch on being able to expand in two states while so many others are falling back to recession postures. I don't know if this Forum reaches enough folks to make much of a bottom line difference... but having a "house organ" with this many happy notes has got to echo positive Klipsch vibes around the world! Keep it rolling... HornEd
Ray Garrison
BobG, sorry to hear about Elba, but then again, Sore was I ere I saw Eros. mostly because Sex at noon taxes. but then I thought No, it is open on one position. and she said No, it is opposition. which is all due to the fact that Eve damned Eden, mad Eve. and so, of course, Dammit, I'm mad! Oh, and what do you call series of words that can be reversed in "word units", like: Bomb disposal squad with failed technique failed with squad-disposal bomb. ------------------ Music is art Audio is engineering Ray's Music System
justin_tx_16
wait there's more! LAST IN AN ETERNITY EVENT At 8:02 PM (8 PM is 20: hours on the Greenwich or military clock scale) on the 20th of February, a twice in eternity thing will happen and you are here to witness it. As the clock ticks over from 8:01 PM on Wednesday, February 20th, 2002, time will (for sixty seconds only) read in perfect symmetry. To be more precise: 20:02, 20/02, 2002. It is an event which has only ever happened once before in eternity and is something that will never happen again. The last occasion that time read in such a symmetrical pattern was long before the days of the digital watch (or the 24-hour clock): 10:01AM, on January 10, 1001. And because the clock only goes up to 23:59, it is something that will never happen again!
