  3. Good morning all, Have you ever gotten to good at your job.? You have the system figured out and tweaked, so your actual time to crunch out the reports and do the analytics is almost nothing. Then what do you do with the rest of your day? I guess you could hang out on the Klipsch forum.

  6. Well it sounds good now.....oh yea..... MKP :-) That's an album I will never get tired of listening too. I know DSOTM gets most of the attention, The Wall and Wish You Were Here are both just as good. Actually….I think Wish You Were Here is the best album they did. (okay….let me have it) Actually, that’s a very tough call. In its entirety, DSOTM is superior; but, Wish You Were Here contains my favorite Floyd song…Shine On You Crazy Diamond (turn out the lights and crank that one). My second favorite Floyd song doesn’t get much attention--neither does the album…there is a track called "Wot’s … Uh the Deal" on the album Obscured By Clouds…very good song.

  14. I have gotten to a place where I and select others were considered tops in our craft, Problem was managers felt that was a reason to make us the GO TO guys without any type compensation Put us on the hard tasks and take the schluff artists (my own copyrighted term, for lazy bast%$d with zero initiative ) and put them on the meaningless gravy tasks It tends to get old quick and leads to a serious morale problem

  20. That is a very nice SUV. Second the thumbs up on the color. We are a somewhat bland family of white cars.

  21. It runs and handles better than an SUV really should.

  27. Only 340! That's quite an SUV. I'll bet it's fun to drive.

  28. No, it's only 340. They make a 400 hp version but she really didn't need that much engine. This one will get her from point a to point b without an issue.

  29. Holy Fast Family Truckster Batman!!! I don't know why she wanted an SUV. Our youngest is a SR in high school so we're not running kids all over town like we did in years past. There'll be plenty of room for things on trips and we plan on taking it to DE for Thanksgiving. I love to drive.

  30. Beautiful collection. My wives' last car was really RED. We'll look at a vehicle and all the color options before ordering. It's amazing how different a vehicle looks with different colors. Some work really well, some look horrible.

  35. I'm not that good but know how to hire good people. I need to learn how to do that. Maybe I'm not all that great on hiring good people but I pull the trigger quick on the bad ones and the good ones are what I'm left with.

  36. Okay here's tip to get off early on Fridays (those of you that can't just take off whenever you want)...take the contents of your "In Box" and mail it to yourself. You get to leave early, and on Monday morning, you get it back in the mail. I've never done this; but, it was used by someone in my organization. I did have a guy that worked for me ask if he could leave at noon. I asked why. He said the local radio station had a car driving around town and if they saw a car with one of their radio station bumper stickers--you'd win a hundred bucks. So, he wanted to cruise around town for a few hours. at least he was honest.

  37. Ha! Mark, I was kidding! I thought my low balling his almost give-a-way price was enough, but then I also asked him to drive it from Wisconsin to West Virginia! I have got to work on the delivery of my humor! Hmm, maybe if I had asked him to set it up in my living room as well... Enjoy your sub! +++ And actually, I had pondered if I could help you on moving those white Cornwalls. I have a son in Myrtle Beach which is near Charleston, SC. His vehicle is a Jeep sport model but it is tiny so I really don't think the CW's would fit inside, or I would guilt him into coming home to visit his mamma and bring those refrigerator sized speakers with him.

  41. Good luck and glad tidings to whomever would venture into that environment to look and test....I would honestly hesitate at $800 for just the bass bins, and, why would you want to sell them that way, after they've been advertised with the photos of the tweets and mids mounted on top? I don't get it....and won't....

  42. little update to this thread. i have bought all the tools needed to build some boxes very soon. i am the new owner of a festool track saw, festool orbital sander, and a festool dust extractor. also grabbed me a jasper jig, dewalt fixed and plunge routers and a few bits to get me started. also ordered 12 30" clamps just now too. so i have 4 to build for a friend before i start on mine. excited about this. after this i may be starting on a special project in my living room. something that will contain 3 lcr speakers and still have room for a rack or two in between. just have to worry about boxes first, then i will start looking into hardwoods for entertainment centers.

  43. ill just start my post off with this quote. YES! it is bliss! the 450C would be a great center for those that never venture any further into this hobby. and see that is what this hobby brings. different opinions. i like the 450c i just feel the 62ii is better sounding for home theater use. also the rear port was a huge step backwards in my opinion. i would agree there for the most part except for the finish quality. you know you liked the veneer better! i actually own all three of the reference premiere centers right now. i can tell you that every one of them (in my opinion) is not clear enough for home theater duty. they just sound veiled to me in general. and the one speaker i dont want veiled is the center. now the towers and bookshelves are SWEET. i also have most of them right now as well. music is sweet on them for sure i just think the older centers were better at movie dialogue. they will def not. but different price category and cinema is for a whole other direction. absolutely in my opinion. a speaker that is veiled to me can not just be eq'ed up. the clarity just isnt there when i compare them to what i am used to. and i think the 62ii was just a tad more clear. so its the winner in my book. especially at half the cost. now they are about impossible to find now so might me a moot point.
