Don´t know whether I will have a lot of time to spin some records this weekend , there a many preparations to be done till monday afternoon. I´m going to leave for the rehab early tuesday morning at 7 am. I hope the orthopaedists will get my broken spine and hinges back in a better condition. The last few months I was strictly forbidden to put any kind of heavy strain on my body, so I'm curious. I expect to be back on march 5th.

Going to leave next tuesday for the rehab in a small city called Eilsen, it´s near by some interesting sightseeings . The Extern Stones , these were built by earthquakes million years ago and the Hermann Landmark, he won some important battles against the romans I still have a few preparations to make before I take the train on Tuesday. The journey by train only takes 3 hours.

For this reason I don´t buy much orchestral music or OSTs on vinyl. Modern music is fine, even if quiet parts are present. But yes, background noise comes to attention from time to time here too...

While I love that kind of R&R, I've been listening to a lot of good tunes from back in the day.. Yea mostly Southern These guys were on Capricorn Records too, thanks to Duane! And Eric did a cover of one of their well written tunes on 461 ! @Marvel you might like this LP too, the whole thing is good!

1970s Decca Holland reissue on red vinyl. Sound of these reissues isn't top quality. But still enjoyable.

Oh boy, took every single tar and nicotine saturated venetian blind off my windows & to the dump. Cleaned with windex this last time to get them clean. Why? My blinds were arriving today. Double cell, top down, bottom up, cordless. Bought from this same company years ago and trusted them. Every single one of them is an < > an eighth of an inch too big to fit. Gal on the phone was insufferable and wasted words that did not belong in the conversation like a politician! Starlink is crap anymore. It would be a step above Hughes etc or Viasuck I guess. We live right over city limits line where there was no internet so I've been using manipulated tablet plans from AT&T for 4 years and added a T-Mobile $10 business tablet plan on in a 5G modem where I can lock in on 5G SA bands. Getting 300 down and 10 up typically...for 10 bucks a month. I also do this for my inlaws who did live out by a lake and only options was Viasuck. Dropped that and added an outdoor modem that was way better and faster. Moved them to town due to health issues and kept same setup since it's cheaper. But as luck would have it, they buried conduit and will be putting in fiber over next 2 months. I'll still keep the TM tablet plan for backup.

My boss is a little ocd and runs non stop all day. Most of the departments decorate around certain holidays. For Halloween, he made a fake fireplace with bats hanging from the ceiling, and had a trigger set up to play Halloween songs for those who got near. He redid it at Christmas, and decided to leave the fireplace going. The fire is actually a large monitor play a loop of a real fire. Today he put a "mouse" in a rat trap he had.

AL-3 has a polyswitch for tweeter protection. Other than that, the midrange and tweeter filter sections of the AL-3 and AK-3 are identical. You might consider sending the tweeter too.

I have no idea, to be honest. I just noticed that in some rooms, the connection is worse than in others. I started to do some research and actually found an app which I'm going to download on my iPhone to check the WiFi speed in different locations https://apps.apple.com/us/app/netspot-wifi-map-speed-test/id1490247223?ls=8. I didn't know that something like that even exists.

We had a busy evening at home, but this was on the news: It happened around 2:30pm in the 2700 block of Vermont Avenue near Notre Dame High School. Police say they arrived at the scene to find one person with a non-life-threatening gunshot wound. The unidentified victim was taken to a local hospital. Police say several places, including Notre Dame High and CHI Memorial, were placed on lockdown to allow officers to make sure the area was safe. ----- Our offices/campus is about four blocks from where the shooting took place. We ere on lockdown, and they finally just let people leave, but locking the doors behind them as they left. Wife and I stayed about another 45 minutes and then went home. Tons of traffic like nothing was going on. They haven't found the shooter as of curent news.

Get the Sony EP-EX10A hybrid eartips or Comply foam T-100 , these are the best options , I suggest you to get sony for better durability [Y]

@ bsamuel - you are lucky that u got adjusted with klipsch original gels , but I tried all the gels made klipsch large double flange , normal large , medium,small . After somedays I bought Sony hybrids - they were soo much soft and I got extremely good stiff seal (medium) so I recommend them because they are worth for the price and the sound acoustics improved after that .
