never.... NEVER, seen that happen unless it was exposed to some moister because it's several layers thick. I'd be more inclined to just have a new piece cut from Baltic birch rather than try and straighten a warped piece.

Thanks... upscale seems to have access to some nos telefunken tubes I am looking at. I'd rather save money and I would also rather work with good people instead of presumptuous people.

has anyone ever had dealings with upscale audio? thinking about some tubes from them.

I used to have a Danelectro Sitar guitar... it was good, but no match for a nice telecaster. then again, it wasn't trying to match a telecaster either. I've been playing seriously since I was ten years old... than means about 42 years of fret work. there are some I have regretted selling, and some I have regretted buying. at some point I told myself I would not buy anymore guitars unless I REALLY wanted it as a keeper... than normally means spending $$$.

Try a om42 neck... now that is a neck to die for. I've had two different units two different times and it simply extremely comfortable in the hand because it's not a V or a modified V... it's a low profile martin neck.

I have owned a guild 12 before... not the most incredible guitar I have owned, that is for sure. I looked, that appears to be a jumbo bodied 12 string in the $1000 range... I might hold out for something better unless you are getting a smoking deal and this is one of your first guitars. at least it's not a laminate.

Cornwall mod question... What would happen if you cut a new solid motorboard (and sealed the back), removing the mid and tweet, and laid in these four internal modifications(45º top back board, vertical separation board, 45º bottom board, and a shorter bottom horiztonal board) so that a semi tuba is created? I realize the woofer is a direct, but is there anything here that makes sense... moving the mid's and tweets to atop the LF cabinet using some larger horned structure like a 402 or something custom with the cross overs moved on top. as you can see, I am really bored today
