  1. That's what air compressors are for[].
  2. If you're not comfortable putting it in, run it over to Beaumont and I'll slap it in there for you. It's about a 10 minute job.
  3. I'd be tempted to put the ribbons in a seperate 2 channel rig and run the Forte/Heresy setup for the front 3 in a HT configuration.
  4. There's nothing like taking a motorcycle ride to cool down. The air blowing over you as you drive down the road feels like it's coming out of a hair dryer. The engine heat at stops is just stifling.
  5. I've got glass tops on both of mine. Just be sure you use some of those super thin felt type dots between the glass top and speaker.
  6. You just kinda get used to it. Drink lots of fluids and try to limit exposure to the sun (unless you're in the pool[H]).
  7. You've discovered the difference between sub-sonic and infra-sonic[].
  8. 10 yard penalty on the Mighty Favog for piling on.
  9. are you trying to be ironic? ZINGGGGGG Gave me a chuckle.
  10. After reading the title, I thought you farted[+o(].
  11. The Reference/Heritage debate can go on ad nauseum, BUT, I think everyone agrees not to mix and match between the lines. Go one way or the other.
  12. The 7's should be timber matched to your center that you just received.
  13. Ditto jephdood, you want to match your center to your mains.
  14. Another Heresy III would be ideal.
  15. That calculator is so cool. It's like WINISD for BBQ.
  16. Try a different sub cable first. If it still doesn't work and is under warrranty, bring it back to be checked and repaired. Sounds like an issue with the amp.
  17. I guess the easiest thing would be to have a seperate AVR and run a HDMI output from your current receiver but you're looking for a cheaper solution. The panel display shouldn't be an issue, but the problem is sending an amplified signal to your other set of speakers. Outside of a speker selector switch box, I don't see how you'd do it.
  18. I think a custom vertical Heresy could be made, similar to a vertical Cornwall.
  19. A small sub turned up or a large sub turned down would use the same current (I would think). As long as they were similarly efficient, you're just turning electrical energy into sound pressure.
  20. Welcome to the forum. I'm not quite sure why you're hung up on wanting "less wattage". If it's too loud, turn the gain down.
  21. Makes more sense when you put it that way [].
