  1. Richard, All I can say is WOW!!!! You are truly an exceptional person in your field, At a time when most are all about what can I make you are helping others. All of your clients are very lucky people. I really need to get some things done...... Thanks for sharing that. Steve
  2. Pyro, I don't know if this will help you out at all but I have Origanal Las Scalas with AA cross overs that have been recapped. I live just west of Richmond, VA. you are more than welcome to come by my place. I am sure we can gather enough info to be able to come up with what the major difference is sonicly from the origanals to the LSII. I know they used 3/4 MDF as oposed to the 1/2 inch plywood. I know this was to reduce the sonic resenance of the bass bin. I am not sure what differance the cross over has tho. If you have a perticular amp you might bring it with you. The Lascalas ar in my workshop but we can move them around in the barn or outside where I think they sound the best. Steve sorry everything is so run together but my work computer makes it this way.

  8. I know this will be a crippling blow to Toshiba but Wally World really doesn't have a good selection of either formats. At least not the stores I have been in. I am comparing this with the selection that Best Buy have for both formats. Steve

  12. I have now spent a little time listening and I find the larger of the two double flanged ear gels seal the best and are very comfortable. So far I have this impresion on the bass "How can this sound be in my head but I don't feel it pounding my chest." By far the best bass responce of any earphone I have heard. It is really amazing how they can get such a full sound out of something so small. Steve
  13. Trey you know if you want some stakes driven in the ground I am there for you big guy...... I like the big tent big sound idea. Colter bring it all..... haha Steve

    Reviews!

Hey Amy, Custom3's just arrived about an hour ago and have only listened for just a few min. but I did want to say for the very limited time they sound great and are very comfortable. Remember I wear hearing aids so I am very used to having custom earmolds in my ears all the time. When using the small tip I got good airtight fit and could hardly tell anything was in my ear. I will give more details on the sound when I get more time on them. I really cant wait to try them on a plane. But..... the case is a little on the thin side. when putting my 30 gig Ipod I have to be really careful when closing the case to keep the headphones out of the way of the Ipod. Just my $0.02, it would be nice to have a small hard sided compartment inside the case for the headphones. I am using the small net on the lower right side to put the headphones in with the eartips sticking out of the net at the hinge, then sliding my Ipod in the bigger net on the left side. I just have to keep the Ipod all the way in the bottom of the net pouch and it closes fine. Steve
