Man it looks like Austin is the place to be right now, for killer used Home Theater set-ups. http://forums.klipsch.com/forums/thread/762092.aspx Jeremy -
For Sale RF83s, RC64 center, RS62 rear sides and RB81 for rears

That should be a real sweet set-up for someone, at that price. Lots of Texas Klipschters out there. This deal should not last long. Jeremy -
My father has a 56 Plymouth (project car), that has the brackets under the dash to hang the Hi-Way Hi-Fi , but the player was robbed long ago. Going to the Mopar Nationals in a few weeks, i'll see if I can find some and snap some pics. Jeremy

I'm an avid Chrysler (Mopar) enthusiast. I've seen many of these players over the years at car shows and swap meets. They are worth a fair amount of money in good shape. The big problem with them, and the reason they never took off, is the records are 16 rpm. Records were available from Chrysler. I'm not sure what other 16 rpm vinyl was available at the time. That was before my day. Jeremy

Monster-size CD sale for all my trusting buddies
capo72 replied to Parrot's topic in 2-Channel Home Audio
Luckily sarcasim is my 2nd language. I'm glad I didn't get taken up in that other fiasco. This offer seems legit though. Let me think of some titles. [] Jeremy -
Audio from cable box to Yammie, and from dvd to Yammie. The only connections necessary to your tv are the video from the Cable box and from the dvd player. No audio connections are necessary to the tv unless you plan on watching tv with it's on-board speakers, and not using you Yammie. If your DVD does not have a HDMI or DVI then you should use the component connections (red, blue, green) to the TV. Hope i'm not making this worse. Jeremy

HDMI is way better than S-video, but don't spend the money on a Monster cable HDMI cord. Go to BlueJeansCable.com or www.monoprice.com get your self an HDMI cable there. Also HDMI does carry audio, but you should be using either optical, or digital coax to your Yammie for surround processing. Good luck! Jeremy

That's funny. I love that movie. That is one of the best scenes in The Princess Bride. Oh yeah, Leinenkugel's Berry Weiss for me. Love my Captian Morgan as well. Jeremy

Everyone is entitled to their opinion. I believe Steve comes across these great deals all the time, because he puts in a tremendous amount of effort to find them. Everytime I find something in my region, it seems Steve was already on top of it. Deals are not going to fall in your lap very often if you don't have your ear to the ground. Sometimes it's frustrating for me when i'm beat out on a good deal. It's hard for me to beat Steve on anything in Illinois, but hey i'm a realist. If I don't put in the effort he does, then I can't expect to get the results he does. I can live with that. That is my opinion. Good luck Steve, Jeremy

I'd buy a bass bin kit. Or maybe at least measured drawings. Jeremy

Glad to finally see the pics of your TD-124 with the big plinth. I'm thinking of building a larger plinth for my 124. I'm also looking into the SME 3009. Glad you like it. I'm wondering how the SME 3009 will work with my Shure V15 II cart. How is your plinth constructed? Is it laminated plywood or MDF? I was thinking of laminating MDF to add mass, then capping the sides with a solid hardwood, or maybe an exotic veneer. You have my dream set up in the BB Extreme and VRD's. Good luck to you. Jeremy

That is a really interesting design. I'm intrigued to buy the plans for that. I just wish it was designed around a 15" woofer. I've got some K-33's laying around that are begging for a new cab. I wonder how that bass bin would sound with k-55-v on an Altec 511B and Bob's new tweeter? This has really got me thinking. Jeremy

Please provide the finish on the speakers. The vintage of the Heresy's might be helpful as well. Jeremy

I used to listen to Uncle Lar when I was a kid. I have not heard that voice for a while. Some guys from work headed out to Joliet today. I have not been able to make it ever since they switched the date to the weekend of my wedding anniversary. Man I am whipped [:$] Jeremy
