  1. Yes it does help to turn on the heater , "it's kinda like an extra radiator" . Chances are your thermostat needs replacing , or your water pump has kicked the bucket . There are other things that could be the problem , but those 2 are the most likely .
  2. Those girls need to be shipped frieght , with a company you trust . Or picked up . My first pair were shipped 2,900 miles from Tacoma Wa. I used Roadway and they arrived without a scratch .
  3. Allways cover your speakers when transporting them .After all , if you didn't know what these were , what would you think ?
  4. todd wrote - What makes the signal weak on satellite is not "line doubling" or that it's not "recorded in HD" (whatever that means). "Your kiddding right?" "I would think that you would know what recorded in HD means"
  5. I believe that what HBO considers HD is actualy line doubling . If you switch from HBO to say The Discovery Channels HD , there is a big difference . Remember for true HD the image must be recorded in HD , broadcast in HD and received in HD . What HBO and other premium channels are doing is filling the screen on your wide screen TV , which ain't a bad thing .
  6. I don't know Billy , but a nice 3 level home off of River Road on the Intercoastal Waterway sounds nice . Jet Ski's , Skurfin , Fishin and hanging out at the Sandbar sounds pretty good to me . "Kin folk said , Johns Island is the place you want to be" []
  7. Would this be part of the Super Adventure Club agenda jacksonbart ?
  8. Buy the biggest one you can . And then tune it to the room .

    Narnia

I liked it , but not enough to buy it .
  10. Hey Billy , give me a call , I'd be glad to come up and help out . As far as selling your stuff , why don't you wait and see what size place you might be moving to . "You might need some more stuff"
  11. Nope , but if you do , come to Charleston . This place is supposedly crawling with them . There is at least 4 companies here that conduct ghost tours . There's a good chance that you will wind up in the alley adjacent to the restaurant I work at . It's now called Lodge Alley , but was known in the past as Blood Alley . 200 years ago they had a gallows set up there , and at times they were offing so many people that the blood would run out into the street . Hence the name Blood Alley .
  12. Here is an email I recieved through the forum from the user AmpHandle last month . My first thought was that it was Klipsdud . This email was sent from a user at Klipsch Forums. Replying to this email will be sent back to the user via normal email. Sent From: AmpHandle Subject: Heritage is not better __________________________________ SunburnWilly, I am not a happy camper with you at all because your remarks on Heritage being better than RF-7 on this forum from past post, sent me buying Cornwall II speakers, it didn't surpass the RF-7 so I moved to the LaScala, and then then to a pair of 2005 Klipschorn's I bought locally from a woman who lost her husband. Needless to say, none, and I mean none of these Heritage speakers surpassed the RF-7 and switching between them, one quickly can hear the Heritage is lacking in imaging and resolution that the RF-7's have, plus a sort of hole in the middle that I now understand what people mean by it from what is the downside to horns. It's obvious that you have NEVER heard a well setup RF-7 with good equipment. You made me waste money and time trying these Heritage speakers. I called and complained to Klipsch about your past post and they told me that it's an open forum that they are not responsible for your posting that put me on that path that I need to understand some of these guys from the forum think that LOUD is better but that the RF-7 are their flagship speaker for very good reasons as I found out when comparing. Thanks for the darn hunt-down you caused me, thanks for nothing but lost time and money. Never again will I read some one's post and let it sway me again. You need to start being very careful with giving such wrong advice or what you say and make some one go do what you made me do. Even if it's not Klipsdud , I was a bit amused that they claimed to call Klipsch to complain about my posts . [][]
  13. Please get well soon Bob . "After all , who else around here is going to sniff our caps?" []
  14. KathyMason and KlipsDude are the same person. "10 minutes and 50 seconds into the Crying Game , sunburnwilly found out what all the fuss was about [+o(]"
  15. What a relief , when I first saw your thread topic I thought you were talking about the gay cowboy movie . Or perhaps Narnia , which I am wanting to see ...
  16. Hey Kathy , where you been ? Your avatar has been sorely missed around here ... ps - would love to compare your 7's to my Belles , but since your like 2,500 miles away I doubt it would happen ... Yours truely , sunburn []
  17. I hear Gold Toe Socks are better than standard ...
  18. I for one would love to hear the Jubilees . I will say though that my Belles will hit 115db's at listening position at 29 on the volume knob of my processor , not even breaking a sweat . Even though my Belles where having no problem with this volume , I found it uncomfortable . As I stated in a previous thread , maybe I have turned into a Wuss at my old age of 40 ... []
