Hey Nightrider , What kind of power do you have going to the La Scalas . With an abundance of clean power you can drive these speakers to very uncomfortable levels to you , but not damage the speakers , or distort the signal . If however you drive them to a level that makes your Cd or Phono player skip or jump ; " unusual in CD players but can happen " , you will surely Blow Them ! Loud levels and no distortion is IMO a good problem to have . Allthough since I got my Belles a month ago my Tinitus has made a comeback , it was getting better . Uh , What Did You Say ... Hear's To You ! Pun Intended .

Hi Bonzo , I am a long time Heresy owner , and may be of some help . What size room are they in ? How far are they apart ? How far from your listening position are they ? They are not going to replace what you had , but with a little work , I think you'll be happy with them .

As long as you have pre-amp out puts yes , and it will not affect your dsp modes other than making them sound better with cleaner power .

Heck go ahead and buy a plasma if you want . As long as you get a good extended warranty you could swap them out indefinitely . Me , I'm happy with my 50" DLP , It's 15" deep and only weighs 70lbs . In contrast my 35" Toshiba Cinema Series CRT in my bedroom weighs 280lbs ; 12 years old and still looks great though !

Moby Play , very diverse and has a great production value . Ie. sounds very good .

Hi Howard , Heres what I did . I tried to snip the spade in the middle and bend it at first . I got the ends down to the size needed to fit in the crossover but the wide ends would have touched . Oh well ; snip , snip , byebye spades and hello little eye connectors that fit perfectly . I should have included in the photo one of the unmodified spades for size reference . I love the binding post idea , but my Belles had just traveled more than 2900 miles and I was anxious to get them hooked up and see if every thing was ok . Everything definitely OK , I might ad . Anyway I suggest you go to the "show us your cat thread " , on the first page you will find a photo of La Scalas with the seperate binding post . That really looks like the way to go . I would have included that shot in this reply but I'm a bit of a caveman and have'nt figured out how to do stuff like that yet , much less resize my attachments ! Hell I still use a stick to fix my computer when it acts up ! Bad Computer , Whack , Whack , Ugh Puter Fixed !
