  1. Live In Paris is my favorite. I have just about all of her CDs and not a bad one in the group. I will have to start buying the vinyl.....they must sound spectacular.

  3. I was mistaken....he posted on September 23, 2008. I guess I was awol during that tme. Happy birthday Duke and if I can find any LaBatts down this way I will raise one in your honor.
  4. Termites, drainage, moisture in crawlspace, radon, lead based paint, rodents, air leakage, flashing, loose shingles, stains on ceilings, condition of hvac, volatile organic compounds, underground storage tanks, electrical service problems including smoke detection, properly vented gas appliances, rotted wood (especially window/door sills) cracks over door headers, level floors, uneven settleing. Make sure the floors are well supported if you plan to use a turntable[:^)] You are going to have a music room....right? Tell us about the house such as siding, roof materials, age of systems, one story or two, insulation.......
  5. [Y][H] Keep it up...."the worm has finally started to turn for you"
  6. Man....you guys are killing me.....am I going to have to find some new drinking buds? Where's JB? Hey Duke.....got any LaBatts?
  7. I feel for you brother!!!! Really, I do!!! Gotta' run... take in some rays, etc. Time for that 4 o'clock whistle.......if we had one. Another work week done. Anybody thirsty?
  8. audioadvisor.com use to have NG machines made for Audioadvisor that look identical and sell for much less. I have the NG 1.0 and it does an adequate job with a strong vacumn and completely manual operation. Now that you're a neighbor you can come on over and try mine before you buy.
  9. Just overlook Phil he's been that way since getting new Cornwalls a week ago[] A big welcome to you John!
  10. Welcome aboard Tyler.....nice looking yellow lab[]
  11. Hey bluesboy.....double quotes won't increase your post count[] Come on back guys.....I won't keep score any more[]
  12. After 4 rounds we go to the judges score cards. Judge 1 has it scored 30-27 Warren Judge 2 has it scored 29-28 Richards Judge 3 has it scored 30-27 for the winner and still best cabinet material.......paper mache!
  13. Don't have any idea what they are but they sure are pretty! No one here knows? Thats a first[:S]
  14. Good deal Phil....I had the windows opened earlier and thought I heard them[]. You can't go wrong buying Spongeworthy's gear. Enjoy!
  15. Sad......and Delaney Bramlett too (Delaney, Bonnie and Friends)[]
  16. Not many changes here. Moved the LS out of the corners and swapped out the JJ KT-77s for EH 6550s in the horn monos. Both were improvements[]
  17. Very handsome speakers Pete! Seller has 100% positive feedback. Take a look over on audiogon.com under integrated amps in the classified section. In your price range there are vintage and new amps that should make those Belles sing. Cayin A50T integrated amp 36 watts at $880 or the Quicksilver Audio Mini Mites (power amps) with a Quicksilver line stage preamp (both tubed) would work well. No affiliation with sellers.
  18. Those are nice DownUnder and the auction ends soon......better go get them[]
  19. AN....that was quite a read....very interesting and informative[Y]
  20. Arky......I just did a search and got a thread titled "I thought I saw Duke Spinner around here today" May 2006!!!!!!! Has he been absent that long? Hey Duke....are you out there?
  21. Anyone heard from the Dukester? Duke Spinner......I haven't seen a post from him in quite awhile.
  22. The Sovtek tubes should be fine. The amp may need some break in time to sound its best as will the tubes. Enjoy!
  23. Very attractive amp Gio[Y] I have never heard RF-35s so I can't speak to the need for a sub. What brand name KT-88 tubes were in it? Best of 2009 to you and enjoy your amp[]
