  1. Dunno, depends,....does it have that same ugly veneer on the dashboard?....
  2. So it's simply the rarity of the ugly finish that makes them "special"?
  3. I use a TEAC AI 2000 integrated amp in my 2 channel b/room system, paired with Klipsch RB5 speakers. It is a very nice sounding, and very well built piece, with plenty of power.
  4. And then there are other forums that compare Klipsch to Bose....
  5. I keep looking out for a pair of those B&W cdm 1nt speakers as surrounds. I've got the floor standing CDM 7NT, and matching centre. Excellent sounding speakers.
  6. Mercury was replaced with aluminum... Doesn't that make you feel better. Aluminum salts have been used in vaccines for many decades, you would get a larger dose in your daily drinking supply and food than from a vaccination....But hey give them something else to worry over Dave.
  7. The answer why "mercury" is in vaccines can easily be found, at least it can if you are willing to look. Of course it is not always the answer some may want, and some would rather stick with what they believe, whether or not it is correct. There is indeed a form of mercury used as an ingredient for a preservative in vaccines, the body easily breaks it down, it is ethylmercury, distinctly different from the more toxic form that may be of concern to you.
  8. Are there really people who still believe vaccines are unsafe?...Sheesh.
  9. Yes they are regarded as the same, with the exception that the 681EEE was "calibrated" the stylus of all the series are interchangeable. I own both and with the same stylus fitted both cartridges are indistinguishable from each other. It is a fine cartridge especially when paired with a worthy stylus.
  10. I can't believe the stream of abuse that I am still getting from this character...All cos I asked what T/T he had....lol
  11. Wow!! Since asking what model the T/T is I have received a further slew of not so friendly eMails...Yup the guy is disturbed.
  12. But the turntable is a Pioneer PL50a.....
  13. $300+...and worth every cent..
  14. Mine are not so much "forgotten" as excess to requirements...They are a very nice sounding speaker..I remember them being highly praised in critics reviews.... "the jewel in the reference line-up". The real wood veneer is the icing on the cake....
  15. You seem to be doing fine, that makes sense now...
  16. Yeah I wondered about the vibrations, but there is nothing mechanical about crossovers that would be affected by vibrations is there?
  17. This peaked my curiosity, could you elaborate further Deang.
  18. Ooooh! I so want these...but I have a feeling they may be a long way from British Columbia...?
  19. I have a feeling most here will feel obliged to say NO!....It will be beneath them to even admit it. It's just like asking if they surf the porn sites.....
  20. 2003 Jeep Liberty...230,000, bought it new..Has never let me down, has cost me nothing in repairs....Jeeps are the Timex of the car world.
  21. I'll make a recommendation for you...Sony Alpha a6000, I have found this camera to be nothing short of perfect, and my wife also just loves it. I more often than not grab this camera over my Sony and Nikon DSLR cameras. Same size sensor, lenses are interchangeable, great picture quality, small, affordable, and some good quality lenses are available....Oh and video of course. The Nikon and Canon fanboys will of course not agree with my opinion of this camera, Sony is a dirty word to them.
  22. Stopped into a local thrift store found this for $40...Most surprisingly it sounds pretty darn good...........................
  23. I couldn't resist..I just want to try something different.
  24. I stand corrected...It took me 49 seconds....
  25. Watermarks don't stop people from using them...Plus I can remove a watermark in seconds.
