Bashing choices when members are asking for opinions.

Now the funny thing about bashing here is when someone posts something about brand "B". I'd bet 90% of the bashers never had a Brand B and their bashing involves listening to someone else who has Brand B, etc., etc. After that beer-fest, they need to get it off their mind and feel good about their Kool-Aid..... [6] Just a deeper thought.... How deep? heck'if I know.... nut it sounded philosophical... [] -

It was somewhere on the Forum years ago, but I ran a "scam" on the scammers. We set up a local bank account, transferred some confidential funds, got the bank prez to send a letter to the scammers verifying the account. We then transferred $5K into the account, sent another letter and insisted that they come to us with rep to withdraw the funds. They did.... We popped them in the bank with the "victim". One was from Nigeria and had "diplomatic immunity", so the State Department got involved. The other one was a sleaze Mariel boat lift a*sswipe from Miami. He had issues and as far as I know, is no longer available to "assist" in "transactions". After that, the number of scam attempts on folks with an Okeeville email address dropped down to about zero..... It was fun!

I voted several times with different emails. I will assume that I will get spammed in about 3-4 weeks, but I'll deal with that later.... [6]

You know, Ya'll talk real good like.... but can you go live in the woods for a month with nothin' but a spool of fishin line, a huntin' knife, and a blanket? [6] Vocabulary is great, so is edumacation. But as ole' Coolidge said, "The world is full of educated derelicts".... [] On that note, I will be gettin' my GED next week. It was a tough thing to do. I kept flunkin' history cause of the arguments with the history teacher regardin' the "War of Northern Aggreshion".....

A college teacher reminds her class of tomorrow's final exam. 'Now class, I won't tolerate any excuses for you not being here tomorrow. I might consider a nuclear attack or a serious personal injury, illness, or a death in your immediate family, but that's it, no other excuses whatsoever!' A smart-a*ss student in the back of the room raised his hand and asked, 'What would you say if tomorrow I said I was suffering from complete and utter sexual exhaustion?' The entire class is reduced to laughter and snickering. When silence was restored, the teacher smiled knowingly at the student, shook her head and sweetly said, ........ 'Well, I guess you'd have to write the exam with your other hand.'

ROFLMAOL!!!!! A crafty ploy!!!! Chumming the waters!!!! This should be good!! If..... anyone takes the challenge!!! Besides we have not had a good (as in vicious, name-calling, demeaning....) debate with charts, graphs, specs, sources for liquid nitrogen, and "opinions" from the certainly august, if not gilded, marvelous, heroic, revered, elevated, wondrous, imposing, rarified, noble-minded, grand, marvellous, distinguished, exalted, opulent, venerable, princely, and sublimely rarified membership "spectrum" for at least a couple months!!! My old drill sergeant told me, "If you ain't smart enough to see it my way, you're too stupid to live".... He also made some comment about scraping my opinion off a zipper at some point as well. [6] ..... But we lived through the experience.... He retired and I think he is a salesman for some tube amp company..... [6] Might as well stir it up..... [] -

Here, the school holidays are local school employee union politics of the worst sort. They vote and "present" the days off to the school board that they have over the "contract barrel". They refuse to honor veterans (November), but they sure pick another day honoring a clear political agenda... And a "religious" holiday.... -
Loctite brand no-seize compounds are used in many race engines (NHRA, etc.). They are designed to "lock", but the compound is brittle and will release on torwue. Heli-coils are a really good idea for aluminum blocks unless studs are used. Even with studs, heli's are often used as an extra prcaustion as aluminum block alloys can become "friable" or lose their temper and become brittle around the threads after repeated heating and cooling (as in running at power). The machining key to proper torque on cylinder heads is that the "bosses" must be perfectly flat and exactly perpendicular to the axis of the both/ stud. Use of precision blanchard ground washers between the bolt head or stud nut is strongly recommended in those applications.

Heritage have a particular tone/ timbre, etc., While you have indicated you have no room, if at all possible, look at the area in the "center" and consider re-arranging components, using a different "rack" or stand, etc. in order find a way to "insert" a single Heresy-II. It would be worth it.

If you remove the paint (which sounds like a pain, and it is...), and thoroughly remove the residue, you can experiment with certain stains which will cause the birch grain to "pop". There are also a number of techniques using different stains to accent grain patterns. Jewitt's book is a great resource on "how to". It's expensive, but it covers everything from A-Z including tools, supplies, etc.
