  1. I did not check, but the woofer / compression slot looks too big. With it going all the way out to the wedg/guide, the edge of the woofer basket will have to seal that point. I am not sure it will. I noticed this in the drawing. Without that slot the right size, you will not get the right compression ratio and thus not the right output.
  2. Hey Brandon Welcome... Tell us a little more about what you are up to and I am sure we can help. What speakers and what are you hooking to?

Hey Guys....Someone should look up the crime events around the NORTH SIDE PARK where you plan to gather. Things grow legs around there.... Arkansas is a carry state...you should.... Watch your 6.....

  10. Well I JUST found something out....You guys have a DEALER doing Repair as well. He is buying parts from the vendor we get our networks from. SO he is using KLIPSCH parts. Will only work with stock drivers same as me.... I was doing this to help folks keep there KLIPSCH speaker like new. If you have a place to solve this that is authorized, you don't need me doing it. Heritage Crossover Repairs For crossovers that we may no longer have available, you may be able to get them repaired through one of our authorized Heritage Dealers: JEM PERFORMANCE AUDIO (412) 401-6915 https://jemperformanceaudio.com/ 499 Limestone Dr Bethel Park, PA 15102 United States https://support.klipschgroupinc.com/hc/en-us/articles/360036957831-Heritage-Crossover-Repairs

  12. KLIPSCH IS NOT OFFERING THIS TREY CANNON IS. KLIPSCH OFFERED THIS 15 YEARS AGO, WE HAD 10 NETWORKS A YEAR COME IN FOR REPAIR. I AM OFFERING THIS NOW BECAUSE MY JOB ALLOWS ME TIME ENOUGH TO DO IT. I AM OFFERING THIS FOR FREE BECAUSE IT DOESN'T HURT ME TO HELP MY FELLOW MAN. I WILL NOT GET INTO A "HE IS DOING THIS OR THAT" OR "HIS WORK IS BETTER" OR ANY SUCH BS.
  13. Yes...Same offer here. If you have or replace your drivers with KLIPSCH STOCK parts and have a network, I will do the work of repairing what you have for free. Ship the nets to me once I have the parts on hand for your unit. I will turn them in a day and ship back out the next day... Replacing parts will take about 30 min for each network. ( I am slower that I use to be) You pay shipping here and back and pay for any parts used. My guess is that parts will cost about $30 each, or less. The email to start this is crossover_repair@gmail.com I have 6 or 7 guys in line. I have parts dept. working up a list of parts and MSRP for them. I plan to do a video of how to repair a network so you can follow along and do it your self. I am playing with the idea of a repair kit that ships out with parts, how to and soldiering gun and solder. not sure how that would go over...
  14. Reach out to prosystemdesigh@Klipsch.com and we can answer that question. Most the time we use the IC product. IC-650T and the KDA amps.
  15. Sure...Remember they are small speakers so watch your volume.
  16. Yes I have heard the difference...there isn't much. I would have to look at time lines, but the change could have been due to a driver change. V to the M mid...or round to sqr. Tw. Unless they are side by side, I would be hard pressed to pick one out in a test over the other.
  17. You will have to contact parts for the network...My guess is we have none...We do have a schematic if you want to build one yourself. $30 or so in parts (unless you buy the crazy cost parts.) We use 10% tolerance parts. The ckt is built to work with that level of part. anything different can be out of spec. 20 kHz....we can't hear that anymore anyway (well, I can't anyway)...sorry, no parts for that. We carry some replacement parts. You have a speaker and can prove it and we have the part...cool. You call up wanting to build your own speaker.....no go.
  18. Look at that...some one that knows more than a 20 year klipsch employee....how about that. You can listen to others or call parts and get the K-77-D Which IS the same driver as you have now (only new) with a different mounting horn on it...remove your horn and put it on the new driver....all done. This is a replacement for the old products. Not the new AK-5. IF you have a bad driver, this will get you working right. I would not replace a working driver with a new working driver... No you can not get the new driver or use it in an old speaker without work. (Which we can't help with)
  19. They are made to be as close as you can get. The drivers are from two different vendors. EVERYONE of the vendors for klipsch has a hard time getting the color right. But in the end, the color has no bearing on the sound. Keep the grills on and no one will ever know. Congrats on the new system.
  20. the ones you buy at KLIPSCH...Unless you are working on a crites speaker....
