  1. Congrats on the new receiver! Someone will be very happy with their new Sansui's. I was curious as to what other Cornwalls you got. Are you actually adding on to your house? You are in Klipsch Heaven over there! Good luck!
  2. Congrats on the new speakers! If they sound good to you that's all that matters. All though I cannot offer you a great deal on some new speakers I can say from one vet to another thanks for your service. The majority of us here really appreciate what you guys do for us. So a big salute and a even bigger thank you!
  3. I had the pleasure of listening to this system, and it is awesome! Marshall takes his music listening very seriously. I wish I could accomadate Khorns in my house but just can't do it, they sounded sooo good. But thanks to Marshall my addiction has started. I forsee some Belles down the road, or some Cornscalas. Still enjoying my Cornwalls for now.
  4. Thank you! Nothing like free advertisement from devoted fans. What kind of time frame?
  5. Does anybody know if there is anyplace to purchase a Klipsch Tshirt with just the Klipsch logo like the one at the top left of the forum page? The one they have for sale on their web site does not do anything for me.
  6. Looks interesting! I live on the opposite side of the state and since I am on call this week I could not be much help, sorry. It sure would be nice to listen to that setup in working order, and I am sure there are about a gazillion mods for those monsters. Good luck!
  7. Thanks to all who replied. The tweeters were replaced with new from BEC, also the crossovers were updated and a mod from BEC.
  8. There's a pair on ebay if that's any help. Item # 190099668122.
  9. I really don't know how to express this so please bear with me. When listening to some cd's the singer's voice occasionally sound like they are not at the forefront. On most recordings everything sounds wonderful to me but sometimes they sound tinny. Is this the way Cornwalls sound, since they are so efficient? I know most of my equipment is not audiophile grade and was wondering if maybe a amplifier added to my receiver would cure what I am hearing. Like I said most of the time everything sounds fine, just the occasional times that things seem lacking. Thanks in advance.
  10. Ooops, sorry I didn't mean to jump in front of you. I have been away from the computer for awhile and didn't read the beginning of the thread.
  11. I would be interested in your subwoofer after it is repaired if it isn't cost prohibitive to ship to fl.
  12. FWIW quite a few years ago I worked six months as a rigger at a small boat company, we crimped and soldered all of our connections. Just my .02 cents.
  13. Welcome aboard! I am new here also. There is a lot of good info here as well as a lot of good people. Please enjoy.
  14. I sent you a PM about the Lv105 luxman amp, and T102 reciever.
  15. I have a Canon MP780 all in one and the photo quality is very good, but I am no expert.
  16. I too am wanting good recomendations for jazz. A few weeks ago while traveling to Tampa I was listening to a jazz station over there and I was hooked. Most of what they played was very relaxing and sounded very good to my ears. I was a little disapointed when the station faded out. Anyway a few C.D.'s I just got that I really like are Chuck Loeb The Moon, The Stars and the Setting Sun. Soothing guitar with some horns, very relaxing. and a recomendation from the manager at Borders was Chris Botti " To Love Again" I bought it and I like it. I really don't much care for Jazz that is not musical or sounds to me that it's just thrown together. I like a nice melodeous sound. I typically listen to classic rock, but enjoy many different varieties except rap or elevator music. Good luck in your search! If you find something that you really like let us know.
  17. Is there a way on your Yamaha to adjust the speaker level? Do they work hooked up to the receiver? Hard telling without looking. Good luck!
  18. I got my upgraded and updated crossovers and new tweeters from BEC yesterday. I have been listeneing to a little bit of CD's, Tuner, and TV. These speakers sound awesome. Thanks Bob! I got to crank them for awhile today, I'm so happy that I got Cornwalls! At low volumes the details that are there compared to my old speakers is amazing.I love my Cornwalls!
  19. Bob, Those don't look anything like the crossovers you sent me! But thanks my Cornwalls sound very good now. I am a happy camper. Oh and the new tweeters sound sweet. Thanks for everything!
