  1. Nice job Ryan with the design. This blends the 510 perfect with the 904 for a great looking speaker system and I know from experience it is going to sound fabulous !
  2. Very Nice Job Rudy ! I have always admired the way you tackle your projects by being All In . As long as you have been working in that room I am not sure you are ever going to be 100% satiafied and not wonder if you can make it better. I know you have found the speaker system that satisfies you after quite a few years and I don't think this project will take you very long.
  3. Its You ! Please don't post such rude comments in the Garage Sale forum... Good Golly Gee Whiz, is it possible that it was meant as a joke between friends, or a slightly sarcastic funny comment? Lighten up. I was just going off of what was reported to me by the OP. He took it as a rude disparaging of his price, which I agree to a point. I understand good-natured ribbing amongst forum buddies but this could have been taken the wrong way by potential buyers. This is why I made that judgement call. To be honest with you Chad it was not his price that bothered me as price will always take care of itself. The comment he made saying these were better than original Khorns is what I had a problem with which is exactly what I said to the OP in a response to his Craigslist ad
  4. Michael, Add a second RSW-15 and you will be in heaven !
  5. Not sure where the pic of the label came from but I don't believe they are Khorns.
  6. The top hats actually have 4 mid drivers and 2 tweeter drivers in each one. I believe that the TSCM's in garage sale are the same ones you see here based on the info in the Audiogon ad.
  7. To me modding or rebuilding these receivers is a waste of money. I don't even believe in recapping my xovers or buying aftermarket xovers as I don't like the end result.
  8. Add 2 Khorns for the rears and you would have the ultimate Home Theater system !
  9. Khorn rears And 904 fronts do not mate well ! If it wasn't for the damage to one of them I would be all over them as I have a friend that lives in Golden Valley. These would be a much better match to 68's than the 81's in my h/t system. Budman got the 69's that I tried to get that would have been a perfect match !
  10. and one is sublime... you two are peas in a pod. watch out for will and davis, the forum police... Did you think you were going to be a pest and no one would notice !
  11. You always seem to find something wrong don't you Mr. Nobody ?
  12. I went with the 'Orphean System' which comes with the Drivers and Crossovers. From the Oris Website.... BMS 4592ND/8 (the pair) BMS 4592ND/8 Modified, matched as pair and prepared for use in our Orphean system curing some inherent problems from the stock BMS drive units resulting in cleaner and less resonant output. These drive units can also be used within other applications and other horns than the Orphean suitable to adapt 2" co-axial compression drivers. The Orphean MkII crossover can then not be used as these are designed specificly for use in combination with the Orphean. Very Nice ! I look forward to getting my Oris horns up and runnimg before long.
  13. Cut-Throat, What drivers did you go with on your Oris horns ?
  14. So I guess this is not a Shu in? Don't worry Earl as Schu is never amused because nothing for sale is ever close enough to him for him to purchase !
  15. None taken, I would be cautious too. But the number of posts is not really a good indicator of character. I could posts many GLWS and bring my numbers up. I would be equally cautious of someone with many more posts than I.....but this is off topic. None taken, I would be cautious too. But the number of posts is not really a good indicator of character.
