  1. Little late to be bringing that up. LOL
  2. I don't really lend out my tools, unless I'm lending my time as well. LOL I will however, tell people which brand and model I think they should purchase so they stop asking me for mine.
  3. Those are @Dave A I would imagine. Didn't see them in the garage section though. I'm certain they sound great.
  4. Can we buy hay bales with the money? LMAO I understand your reasons, but sincerely hate that I won't get to see you and the Mrs.
  5. Check out Hugelkultur as well. This can be done in the raised beds.
  6. Just go to youtube and search for raised planting beds with metal and you will find tons. Some people have done their spin on the basic design but in a nut shell, if you get 12' material, cut it to size, run a band of 2x4 around the inside of the metal, at the top, get metal outside corners and cut 4 of those and screw those on and add a top plate (seat) 2x4 or 2x6 to cover the metal edge and add stability. This is one variation.
  7. Hundreds of simple designs out there for raised beds using 2x's and metal roofing that gets them off the ground, easy to tend to and they can be layered and built up with organic material to retain water well and compost while you're growing in the top layer of medium. I didn't get mine built this year (too much other sh!t going on), but have friends that did them and it's absolutely the way I will go for next year. 3' wide 9' long uses materials so there's no waste and I think they end up about $100 per planter, depending on the design. For those of us in more northern climates, you can utilize a simple dome for starts and to start the growing season earlier.
  8. I'm absolutely ready to get out of Ohio for a week and listen to gear.
  9. Wow, not sure what I would have done if you didn't tell us that. This isn't facebook and we don't need to know everything you do. No picture, so really didn't happen anyway. LMAO How are things in N.C.? Hope all is well.

    Is it now OK?

    Some cough syrup tastes good.
  11. I'm thankful everyday that I've always lived in the country, avoid major cities and rarely have any reason or need to venture into dense, urban areas. When I was a teenager living in N.E. Pa., we would occasionally make some night trips into NYC and Philly just to cruise with the bikes or our cars that were way too loud, but that was a different world.
  12. We will need a little set up time at the barn to put all the x's down on the floor, it's a big place.
  13. I may have one but will need to verify.
  14. Good Morning to all! Working on the second cup this morning. Beautiful weather over the weekend, for a change and it looks like today will be another. Hope you are all doing well.
  15. @jwc suggested the same thing to me and the grills haven't been back on since.
  16. I'm sure it's been mentioned in the "Bad Carl Thread" that went away, but there have been a number of studies by Stanford, USC, another in Florida and various other medical facilities that all show similar results as to much larger percentages of the population that have had the infection, but never had any of the symptoms but test positive for the antibodies. Obviously, using those numbers, the mortality rate is substantially lower than other numbers that have been reported when testing only groups with symptoms. I'm not getting in the mud to debate what all of the information means to you personally and how you will proceed as it's obvious that there's a huge distance between those that are already working and have been and those that want to "shelter in place" for whatever period of time, to each their own. My sales and office personnel are coming back in Monday, but myself and 2 other people that do contracting work, have been working the entire time. I'm of the belief that this is not going away and you've had it or you're going to get it unless you are of high risk and can remain isolated for an indefinite period of time.
  17. I remember us discussing that at dinner before the concert. I would imagine that you could have a very successful practice based entirely on certain individuals on the forum.
  18. Many people are wondering the same thing. In late January through February I know of many people, including myself, that had a long lasting upper respiratory infection that lasted weeks and spread like wildfire. The coughing was unbelievable for everyone with varying symptoms regarding fever and other issues. I took off 2 days from work and it's the first sick days I've taken in 10+ years. I've spoken with Dr.'s that think they've had it as well, going back to January. Hopefully, that testing will become available in the near future so we're not wondering.
  19. Both if you really want to be safe.
  20. Randy though he's only been gone a short time, is quickly becoming a legend.
  21. I remember when gas was $1.19 a gallon and they were giving away crude oil like it was yesterday.
  22. I thought it was more like: You can get timed out but you still won't leave.
  23. Wells Fargo has had and continues to have some major issues regarding their business operations. Personally, with the exception of this situation, I couldn't see myself dealing with them, based on their track record. I hope you are all successful in obtaining these loans/grants to help you survive this time. I just need to get the doors back open, it's the only thing that might fix the business i run. Hope you are all well.
  24. Additional unemployment at a rate of $600 per week for 4 months for those that were laid off as a result of the virus. Is that going to help anyone? Nothing is free, some of us are still working, some people were and have been retired and their income hasn't changed, so I'm not sure where you're going with "paying peoples bills for free".
