  1. Ah .... don't we use TADs down that low on Jubilees? or pretty dang close? Nevermind that they're darn near unobtanium. I used BMS 4592 mids on Fastlane"s BIG eliptrac horn with ALK ESN 400s on KHorn bottoms. But they still were 3 way. Sounded pretty good to me(no measuremnet data) but I'm a doofus What about B and C DCM50s? Are they unobtanium now also? Either BMS mid or DCM50 will still need a tweeter.
  2. ^ Yes, God Bless Paul Wilbur Klipsch.
  3. Steers are the other things that come from Texas.
  4. No Jose, I told you no tequila 'til after work
  5. Didn't even notice that at first glance. And it looks like it has a smaller value "bypass" cap across it too..to make sure it is a short at super high frequencies
  6. before pics are GREAT......smurfadelic Like others have said very cool that you are doing this with the kids. Perhaps and I hope some of them will exclaim...OH! that's what speakers are supposed to sound like!
  7. Plan A would be 2 cables, both a left and right. Plan B would be 4 cables. It would return a high pass filtered signal from the sub to your main two channel inputs on the Sansui. From the SVS website data on the SB-2000: Fixed 80 Hz 12 dB/octave high pass filter on line level outputs. With LaScalas as your mains I would not think you have to worry too much about a high pass filtered signal going to them. Just let them naturally roll off at the low end and let the sub add the lower octaves.
  8. Well of course, what's not to like?
  9. That's un American.. oh yea I forgot you're Canadian

  14. And there is no need to Those speaks are awesome. Just plug and BLOW!
  15. Chris beat me to it. It is a CD horn. There must be some filtering in the network. Got a schematic of the passive?
  16. Glad to hear you're getting this nailed down. Gain structure and adjustments can be tricky, especially without an oscilloscope. I did not know the mini dsp was so finicky. My "how much?" post earlier was in jest, I knew between Chris and you you would get it dialed in. Some people are too serious Perhaps I'll go back and edit my post with a smiley face.
