  1. Shawn: You never cease to amaze me!!!! What a simple and ingenious way to accomplish this task. Thanks Shawn!! JJ P.S. The TEAC suggestion was good as well.
  2. or you can buy from this guy: http://cgi.ebay.com/KLIPSCH-RF-7-MAPLE-FLOOR-TOWER-SPEAKERS_W0QQitemZ250099041158QQihZ015QQcategoryZ61378QQrdZ1QQcmdZViewItem Kind of coincidental isn't, it?!!?? All I can hear in my head is "Danger Will Robinson"
  3. Speakerfritz: Please let me know when you are about to sell the Heresys Thanks JJ
  4. OKAY!!!! Who put the quarter in Roc this morning!!???!! [] JJ
  5. I agree with Gary 110% on everything he mentioned above. My 299c ran "naked" for awhile until I bought a nice walnut one from forum a member (Arf??) It is a Walnut case that fits over the top. No screws, easy access for biasing and tube rolling. JJ
  6. I've been dealing with Dell for the past 10 years but always dealt with the Small Business Division and they have been excellent. You have your own dedicated account team that hails from the US. Their Home division is a different story, which is too bad. LarryC: about a year or two ago, Dell has been very misleading when it came to the Recovery and Driver CD's. When configuring a system, you have to add the Recovery CD's just like any other component. The kicker is that there is no extra charge for them. Just for the record, I know that this is the case when ordering from the Small Business division. Not too sure if this is true for the other division. Daddy Dee: I have hundreds of Dell recovery CD's, so let me know the Model of your computer and what the original OS was. JJ
  7. Appleskinner: Your assumption is correct..They are 87's. Buy the Belles esp at that price. Listen to them for awhile and then do some tweaks. My '87 Belles had the AB crossovers and I upgraded to a pair of Bob Crites's A/AA. That has been my only tweak thus far. JJ
  8. At the 2005 Pilgrimage in INDY, there was a demo room set-up with all the In-Wall speakers and the speakers that I'm trying to ID. They are not in-wall speakers but they have a low profile to them and they are best mated with wall-mounted flat panel TV's. Any help will be greatly appreciated!! JJ P.S. I don't think these are it, but definitely in the same family. http://www.klipsch.com/products/details/rvx-42-home-theater-system.aspx
  9. These are just Birch Raw doctored up to look like Zebrawood. They also perfectly forged the labels. There, I spared you all the pain and misery of finding out the truth before it is too late.!! [] JJ
  10. Bob Crites (BEC forum name) will get you what you need or point you in the right direction. JJ
  11. It appears that the web page isn't directing you to the correct homepage. I get the same results as you. It trys to open a page in the LOG directory, which in most cases, is password protected.
  12. Great advice so far.. The only thing I can add is that "They can refuse" the shipment and thus the item has to make it's way back through the Gorilla Pen. The chances of the item being damaged is doubled. JJ
  13. The Comfort Inn isn't bad for us on a budget. It was clean and had a pretty good Continental breakfast as well. It is in walking distance to the Klipsch Facilities and also the Holiday Inn. JJ
  14. Kevin: I will be sending you something that I would like for you to try out on your new speaker addition. This way, I will have to make a trip down for another listening session.[] JJ
  15. Mike: Do you have some examples of what you mentioned above? Thanks JJ
  16. The Teac AL-700P ranks right up there as well. I used it as a backup when Craig was re-doing my ST-70. The Teac was mated with a JM Peach and a pair of Belles. These amps have their limitations but definitely fill the void admirably when in a pinch. JJ
  17. Now Dean thats not quite fair he just didn't know what he was seeing. I saw these up close in Hope and they are a site piano black gloss top, Lacewood veneer up front, a diamond in the PWK logo, a nice plaque with the pair number with description of the khorn, and the panels added to the sides/back to make them easier to seal into the corner. BTW what is the ETA on the Jubilees? Seti: Who are you referencing as 'he'? JJ
  18. Bill: These are the special 60th model..not the plain jane [] ones for 7,500.00. The 60ths are a beautiful looking speaker and many that seen it at last year's pilgrimage would probably say the same. JJ
  19. Here's the link: http://www.onecall.com/productdetails.aspx?id=86622 JJ
  20. I would say at those prices, they went way too high from the average going rate. They were going for 850-1,000 , but that was about a year ago, when I was thinking about selling my pair. I just can''t seem to part with them but for 1500-2000 a pair, I could be persuaded quite easily. As for an asking price, start high..you can always come down.[] JJ
  21. Excellent!!![Y][Y] You made a wise decision and enjoy your new "Fruit". JJ
  22. Just hit the BIN!! And sort out the rest later. At that price, it will go fast!! Heck, I'm even tempted!! JJ
  23. MD1032: I may have a line on one for you. Can't make any promises but will do my best for ya. JJ
  24. Kevin and his wife are very gracious hosts and they have a set-up that must been seen/heard in person. http://forums.klipsch.com/forums/thread/706735.aspx Heck!! They even let a Cheesehead invade their home a couple of times.[] JJ P.S. He has a great selection of beer to choose from!!!
