do you have any klipsch tags on the speaker's bass bin --------or anywhere else on the speaker ? ------if you do ----send us at least 1 picture if both serial numbers are sequential , plus you can compare the tag on the speaker and the top hat to see if they match up
well @billybob and I were a bit worried here , these CF-4 can rock your house -
Here is the user manual --------go to page 11 -------https://content.abt.com/documents/22323/avr1910_manual.pdf
be careful with the volume dial here , if you crank them too high and they come on , all of a sudden , you can risk blowing a driver , do your testing at a lower position on the volume dial-
what is the model brand of the Receiver ---? ---we can look it up and get you rollin here -
by the way , the popping sound simply means that you are over driving the speakers , try to look for a 2nd pair of speakers , that will avoid damaging the Forte 1 -we all like loud sound , but for that , we need even more speakers -
Just in case you don't have it , this outfit is the Authorized Klipsch Sole seller for Klipsch original capacitors , so the exact replacement parts for your Forte 1 speakers -Good luck , now Zebra wood Forte 1 speakers must be very beautiful indeed -
Welcome to the Forum -
https://jemperformanceaudio.com/ ,
they used to cut some cast woofer frames because they tended to fit very tight in Scalas , or they could also cut grooves in the sides of the dog house , nothing new here - but the results were for the better -
one example ----The Crites cast frame woofer (CW1526C) is about 1/8” too big in diameter to fit into the La Scala bass bin.
maybe you helped somebody , in the past , whether for a house , a repair etc -----and they had no money , and now they are slowly slowly repaying you back with what they can afford --
he also said the Eminence Kappalite 3015 LF-4------550 watts , WOW ------- was superior to a k-33in in a CW , why not the Scala - a bit MORE BASS wouldn't hurt
