Shadco , I think that is what I didnt like about the heresys . Not that they are harsh but maybe the bottom end like you said . but that was 35 years ago tastes change.

Gorm , trying to make a vintage system . I think the heresys look just right wo cane grills but I remember the heresys sounded good but not great with my pioneer sx 980 . I know it was a pioneer but It was also long time ago. I am thinking that tubes will warm up the harshness of the heresys . I could just go and get pair of bose and be done with it . Hate mail to follow I know.

I think it`s 35 watts . Had a pair 35 years ago , I just think wo with cane grills would look great with the 500c and new cabinet . But looks are not everything they have to sound good too . plus they are small -ish.

Thank`s guy`s, I found a pair of heresy 1s wo with cain grills mint that would look great with my craig restored 500c and my new mcintosh cabinet . I just don`t know if the heresys sound will be right with the 500c . very funny jimjimbo , nice try .

Back where I started 35 years ago , Just picked up a pair of birch heresys . craigs list - the crazy thing is that I whent there to buy the guys test records he had listed . he had the heresys stacked by his record collection . I asked and he said sure i`ll sell them . I need help .................

I would like to give a big Thank you to a member . I picked up a new amp , mcintosh ma2275 tube amp . I was having a few problems that I could not figure out . So I Emailed , Talked on the phone , text back and forth several times . Now I love my new amp and that is a good thing . So I give Thanks to you Justin Weber , You didn`t have to help But you did.
