  1. Great horns. I enjoy mine also. Good luck with your sale!
  2. Periodically check and tighten the screws on the woofers if necessary. They can loosen over time with bass heavy music.
  3. As long as the frames are plastic and not some kind of pressed fiber board. I'm going to assume that they're plastic, but I've had the misfortune of trying to wash some other vintage speakers grills in the shower, only to find them swell up and become totally misshapen afterwards. Whoops.
  4. Someone else discovers how great those Synergy SBs are! ☺️ I have some SB-3 and they are indeed killer.
  5. I THOUGHT those looked familiar! I like the black too. Good luck with your sale!
  6. Holy crap! You had 7 of those monsters?! Wow. Bummer that the new model doesn't have the same low bass. I wonder why the heck they changed the tuning. Thanks for the photos! 😃
  7. I borrowed one to try in my system, years ago. Flipping heavy! It sounded great.
  8. I'm a big vintage Infinity fan. They definitely made some great speakers. I can't say I'm surprised that KLF were winners, though. I've never heard that series of Infinity, but I see them for sale fairly often on Craigslist. They must have sold a lot of them. Big CVs sell pretty quickly around here. Klipsch too, if course.
  9. R115 is a great sounding receiver. Very dynamic and clear without being fatiguing. Good luck in your hunt!
  10. Get a pair for cost, and let us know! ;-) I saw a pair of the smaller dual 8 inch version for sale locally, which rekindled my interest in the larger CVs.
  11. Thanks for the input. I've had a few pairs of large CVs over the years also. I still have a couple pairs of DX9 in storage, which were later versions of the D9. Really fun speakers. I wonder if the latest version of their big model has improved over the recent versions. I still like the Klipsch sound, with compression drivers for the mids and highs. I always thought about setting some big EV horns on top of the CV boxes, and just using the CV woofer sections for the lows. I still might try that some day... It would be cool to hear the new CVs, not sure if they have local dealers anymore?
  12. Klipsch fan here, just wondering if anyone has heard CVs like the XLS 215s? They definitely look interesting! I think the previous version of the big model got some positive reviews. I'm just curious how their sound compared to bigger Klipsch?
  13. They look like EV manufacturered, but I could be wrong.
  14. Now there's some speakers! Haha they look enormous and badass.
  15. Emailed a couple times about khorn faces for shipping cost, but apparently that's not an option.
  16. Blah, I was hoping someone here would have gotten them.

  18. I have a pair of those exact horns. Great sound! Looking good ☺️
  19. Looking forward to seeing it! Those Yamahas are gorgeous and sound great too.
