  1. That is the best explanation for what we see. Nice observation. Cannot be klipsch
  2. as matter of fact i looked for this thread all day yesterday. id really just like to test it to see how well it does
  3. dang it. i really wanted it too. if it dont work out for you craig let me know and i will buy from you mark beeker
  4. I also thought the same thing that it was round. Ya know i can only compare it between the jbl with the aray of the 3 speakers or a cerwin vega model with the slot such as it has. Im taking a liking to some cerwin models although would not imagine cerwins hanging on an imax ceiling in a city made of money. I wonder if they are actually jbl and they are specifically pro/theater. another thought i believe the jbl we have looked at was a 15 and this model may have an 18. man that thing looks just like that jbl
  5. The large speaker is the new jbl sold for about $18k pr. I cannot recall the model number although positive id is jbl. I will try to find the model number. I have seen them compared to klipsch and klipsch only, even on this forum.
  6. lol at least he didnt paint the drivers my gawd. the bottom right is a tangent 4000
  7. time cannot move fast enough
  8. heres the link to spec sheet etc http://www.klipsch.com/chorus-ii-floorstanding-speaker/details
  9. heresys are nice in a 3 channel or any surround situation. im running pro heresys all the way around 7.1 with 2 18's for subs and its perfect
  10. When you turn on any amplifier always turn the preamp on first. Meaning turn your receiver on before you power your powered subwoofer on.
  11. i'l bring a my xls2500 and pre with bbe882i for my klipsch pro 2502c's then a rare powered sub. nothing fancy but i think it will sound good and fit in car. the hotel number would be nice here as well. thanks
  12. I just seen these and would leave right now cash in hand. oh well. blessings to both buyer&seller....second in line if something happens mark beeker
  13. I want to meet everybody and see it all or hear. I consider myself on the learning curve stuck a bit in upper mid fi If we were meeting this weekend i would be there no doubt. should be the same next month
  14. Thats my plan as well. I cant wait to talk to you face to face Carl. I see you as bad *** black dog with 4 sweet subs in(of all places) the upper wall mark beeker.
  15. That dog looks awsome! That is a great picture! Nice Speakers! My belles cost 3 times as much and i paid more for my chorus ii than you did for this trio. If you are not going to use the belle you should put it on ebay and that should darn near pay for your khorns. It will make somebody a nice center

  19. Its been mentioned and unless running in theater or for surrounds heresy is best on the floor. even blending with a powered bass driver heresy sound so much better on the floor. i had to repeat whats been said cause it is very true.
  20. I really dont mind what happens, although what has been said sounds very very good. I would like to hear some vrds and other legendary amps and meet others that understand that quality sound reproduction equals klipsch. And definately the museum artifacts would be a dream come true. I travel a couple times a month although 6-700miles is my limit due to neck and back issues. Not knowing where anything is and trying to centrally locate myself to see, watch.learn and have fun with fellow members. I will also bring some quality booze.
