  1. I believe your price is right and they look great. There are very few members here, so there is little conversation and nothing is selling very easily. I was hoping that posting pictures would help Gil's equipment move. Wishful thinking, but, maybe, in time, some members will come back. Soon, if things go right, I will be doing a run from central KY to St. Louis, then to the NC coast. My STL to NC trip can go right by you if that helps. I will be on I-40 from Nashville and driving East until I see water.
  2. Not long ago, I saw another building full of industrial JBL equipment on Marketplace. This might be them.
  3. What is the difference between a 2360 and 2365? I can help you with a 2365H, if that helps.
  4. Sold Selling a pair of KP301. The missing plastic guards are with the speakers. They look a little rough, but nothing that Duratex can't fix. $800 $600 OBO local pick up close to Joliet IL.
  5. Sold the KP 201. I will relist the EVs. Selling a pair of rough KP201 (Heresy II parts in a Pro ported cabinet) and a nice pair of Electro Voice ELX118 subs. The KP201 are not pretty, but nothing that can't be fixed with some Duratex. The plastic edge guards are with the 201, but are not shown in the pictures. The EV have 18" woofers and are in good condition with a couple of small scuffs. Pictures show the worst places. The XLR cables are included and are shown in the pictures. $1,400 $1,200 OBO for the whole package local pickup close to Joliet IL.
  6. Welcome to the forum Generally, it is not good to use regular wood glue on cured glue. I used some glue that is okay to use on other glues and such. I will try to find out what it is.
  7. I agree, and thanks for posting. We never know what someone else can use.
  8. I am not sure what the finish issue is, but it doesn't look too bad. They look like they might have some Sun bleaching, which Walnut is known to do (due to Sunlight, Walnut lightens and Cherry darkens). If that's all that's keeping you from having these, I would go for it.
  9. Those are beautiful. If I didn't already have a pair of these, I would buy yours.
  10. That's about 11 hours round trip. @avguytx, you're overthinking it. They're only 5 and a half hours away. There's more than 11 hours of sanding and finishing. 🙂 While you're there, you can swing on down to @Dave A to listen to his Super MWM with 402s and his two-way dual 12" woofer with tractrix horn speakers....AND get a pair of tractrix tweeters to go with the Dave Harris Epitrac 400s. Roadtrip - linear fun New speakers - exponential enjoyment Epitrac speakers - tractrix... I mean priceless
  11. That or get a Mod @Travis In Austin to move it.
  12. This baby is clean before cleaning it. MR74 AM/FM TUNER $400 OBO. Needs alignment, oscillates
  13. Sorry / not sorry for liking what you asked and said in 2013. I, now, have some of Dave's 'E' 400 and am trying to find out more about what drivers to use and what caps, chokes and xover points to use. I saw those. They look great.
  14. I've had the CF-3, and I have had seller's remorse. GLWYS
  15. I don't believe there is any other way, and it has to be right then. IMHO, what is unfair is not knowing how fresh the caps and such are. Another thing is that each pair needs to be 'dialed in' to sound its best, even using the same brand and even the same name. Ex: Trying to AB Forte to Forte II needs some adjustments to make each sound their best. A lot of people's mouths can't be trusted. None of our ears can't be trusted.
  16. Here is a Mark 1500 that's looking pretty good. For $2,400 you can have ~ 5 more dB.
  17. I was trying to be funny. Looks like I failed. Have you ever tried this?
  18. Preface: It's not easy to give a gift to those who need nothing, are old, and can't hear very well. Years ago, I 'repurposed' a trumpet and a kid's bicycle horn to make a miniature megaphone and a tin ear for my Mom and Dad.
  19. Yep, a lot of animals can shape and direct their ears to 'focus' on sound. I have no idea what our lobes are for. Similarly, I am a man, and I have nipples.... it makes no sense.
