Welcome to the Klipsch Forums & Happy New Year! Another KG 4.2 would be ideal; seems they did make a KG 2.2v designed to be a Center; but, I'd look for a pair of KG 5.2 to use as mains & use one of your 4.2s as Center.

P.S. I DO know a little about music & have heard many of these tunes. Have been "Where the Southern Cross th' yeller 'dawg" many times. Who can tell me where that is; without looking it up?

any "Satchmo" fans out there? I am looking for info on a definitive collection on CD. I have a couple of Greatest Hits CDs, Plays W.C. Handy, Disney Songs the Satchmo Way, plus "Saints" & "Kiss of Fire" from other albums. But, the horns sound so good on my brand new, at least 3d hand La Scalas. Any CD recommendations?

Warranty repair on Denon; good experience sending 2 differ unit to NJ repair facility.

1994 is my answer; wish Klipsch still offered Raw Birch Heresy & La Scala.

Klipsch has priced them out of reach; I wanted a pair of Heresy since at least 1990, more likely 1983. If I hadn't discovered the used market, I'd still be wanting. $1700 plus tax for a set of Heresy? If I live long enough, I'll buy a set of all 4, New.

Of course the 82's may dictate upgrading surrounds/center...? Which will demand upgrading the Front... so, go ahead & buy the RF-7II, LoL!

Welcome to the Klipsch Forum! Buy the best you can possibly afford. Check local Craig's List for Used deals. Most of us use speaker wire purchased from Monoprice, Blue Jeans Cable, or the like. Monster Cable is good, but, way overpriced & unnecessary.

X4000 is also expandable to 9.2 with external amp & 2 more speakers; you can attach 11.2, but it will only process 9.2 @ a time...Also has HD Radio
