  1. The other advantage of karts is the low mass and low center of gravity so when you lose control and start spinning you stop quickly and don't flip.
  2. I used to race karts which was incredibly fun and relatively cheap...before you laugh, these karts had 2-cycle engines and could pull over 90mph. I competed once at Road America in Wisconsin where the karts were posting better lap times than road going Porsches. I started racing karts at the Sugar River Raceway in southern Wisconsin which is where Danica Patrick got her start. We were actually kids at the same time racing at the same track and I remember her just as a little kid on a go-kart.
  3. It takes him a bit to get them long legs spun up, but once they're rolling he's got a huge advantage. Kinda reminds me of Phelp's arms being longer than everyone else's.
  4. I've looked a little closer, and it appears that they have 12 of the 24" drivers set up in an IB configuration. I cant begin to imagine the experience of hearing/feeling those going at full tilt.
  5. Impressive build for sure. Does it actually say anywhere what drivers they are using? They look like Stereo Integrity HS24.

    Olympics 2016

I happen to enjoy watching beach volleyball...
  7. I think that the Icon line was marketed to a less discriminating consumer, hence my Best Buy comment.
  8. Corey, welcome to the forum. I would go for the RP-260F over the R-28F. The "reference" line is just the old Best Buy consumer oriented "icon" line rebadged while the "reference premier" line is the new replacement for the old "reference II" line. I'd recommend calling Acoustic Sound Design to make sure you're getting the best deal.
  9. Just googled the Dunlavy's and holy smokes are they tall! Great looking pair of Chorus too...
  10. I'm saddened to hear of your loss. Take comfort knowing that his suffering has ended. We lost a grandfather to pancreatic cancer. He had only about three months between his diagnosis and his passing.
  11. Nice...probably one of the best available for advanced hobbyists.
  12. They look really clean, but they're not cheap... http://charleston.craigslist.org/ele/5702670278.html
  13. These make for fantastic rear surrounds. I'd say "good luck with your sale", but it looks like you don't need it!
  14. They look fantastic! How do they sound?
  15. I don't know if you're into Game of Thrones or not, but the last two seasons were done with Dolby Atmos. The regular DTS mix sounds great, so i'd imagine that the Atmos mix is even better.
  16. Look on the bright side, it's a great excuse to upgrade!!!
  17. I bet you could jam a pop tart in there.

    VRDS TRASHED

He had to squeeze em tight like that so they'd all fit on the badass doily. Seriously though, that's not right.
  19. Derrick, what's the best place to buy Pioneer Elite receivers? Seems like they don't ever go on sale through Amazon and they're not available on discount sites like Accessories4less.com. Thanks.
  20. LOL, if i tried to do what that guy did, i'm pretty sure my house would burn down.
  21. Thanks, i had seen that, but still wondered how the Inuke 6000 DSP real world power ratings compared to the EP4000's. I'm eventually going to be running two sealed Stereo Integrity DS4's in 4 CF sealed cabinets. The DS4's are rated for 1200 watts so i want to make sure i'm not leaving anything on the table...especially since a 4 CF cabinet may be on the small side for this driver.
  22. @derrickdj1, is the DSP version still needed if you have an advanced receiver with sub EQ? Although the Behringer EP4000 doesnt have DSP, i'd read somewhere that the EP4000 rates closer to advertised power than the Inuke 6000. Thanks. Just bumping my last question up since it was at the bottom of the last page...
  23. Are you going to put a roundover on the baffle like the Salks?
